That Squeezeplay does look very good. A pox on Hasbro for sealing it away in a four pack I cannot afford!

A four pack, with one toy I'd want in it... I don't think I'll be purchasing that somehow.

Yeah, when his alt-mode if photographed like that his nose is way too stubby.

He deserved the upgrade to leader class way more than Springer.

Bigger nose cone, bigger shoulder pads, bigger and more intricate wings that can take on more of a cape appearance, and Safeguard.

Yeah, when his alt-mode if photographed like that his nose is way too stubby. The problem here is your head is thinking the nose is the very front section when actually what was the nose on the original includes the brown coloured section on the new toy

The nose is still too short.
Easy pass. I'll stick with my Universe Vector Prime.

They've changed the paints to make him a lot more reddy-magenta, haven't they?

I think maybe it's because despite, as you say, the nose being the right length from the cockpit, the cockpit itself is too far back compared to the original toy.

But oddly the chest dish and key socket are too far forward.
There's a few too many things not quite right about it

Yep, that's what it is - compared to the original it's just not quite right. But even on its own merits, however you look at it, that nose looks too stubby - it'd be bette if it was more pointed and elegant.

Love it. Love the original, love this one. I haven't bought any Generations Cybertron remakes but I'll be having this one just as a one off. New Generations figures that look just like the originals are starting to seem pointless to me.

On the plus side at least the underside of Vector Prime's cockpit looks not quite as bad as Jhiaxus' (which looks awful) - you can at least pretend that his chest detail is a landing thruster, or something.
