From what I remember in Action Force Flint was one of the few characters with any sense of personality or depth. Thumbs up to Flint!

I'm still not seeing much of a Flint defence. Whereas Snowjob is so damm cool. Cold weather gear. Skis & Ski poles that stow in his backpack. Just fab.

Phil, you dismiss the greatest character of all while simultaneously defending the biggest waste of space. I knew you had evil in you, but this much? This could be the greatest scandal in TMUK history!
Just you wait until the Kaptain sees your posts!

You cannot make a bad artic trooper. Apart from Iceberg that is. Flint's a muscle bound yob with a shot gun. My brother liked him. That's proof enough. He's a KO Hawk/Duke. He'd not even be in my top 5 Joes for the year he came out www.yojoe.com/action/85/I mean look: 85 Snake Eyes. Quick Kick. Alpine. Barbeque. Bazooka. Gold, pure gold. Except for the plastic turds that are Flint and Shipwreck stuck right in the middle. (Better Shipwrecks are available) Flint's not even the best Joe wearing a Berret: Lt Falcon is far superior

Hawk and Duke are boring non-entities. Lt Falcon is deeply annoying. Snowjob has nothing to him: another non entity and looks boring.
Flint was the stalwart hero of Marvel UK Action Force! He fought for the love of Lady Jaye! He fucked up Destro on a regular basis! He defended Britain!!!

Her only claim to fame is the Dapol Ice Warrior had her gun.

I don't mind Quick Kick. He is neither great nor terrible. Just there. Though I liked the story he had in Action Force Weekly.
Flint is the main man though. Especially when drawn by Geoff Senior!!!

Right: Invasion of Cobra Island. Who gets left behind on the Flagg cos they're so useless? Flint & Lady Jaye!

Well, everyones mileage is going to vary when it comes to who are your go-to guys to fight the evil forces of COBRA....Personally I have a real liking for Flint, more from Action Force than from Gi Joe though - the Action Force version stands out more for being "designated Brit" and the solid, no-nonsense NCO in Action Force. He doesn't really get the same chance to shine in Gi Joe. Still, I will be all over the Retaliation version once that comes out. Need him to lead my Team Gamma (with Lady Jaye to back him up of course- her being my second-bet Gi Joe Girl).
Larry Hama has made me quite like Snow Job when he showed up in the recent IDW stuff actually. I doubt anyone can make me change my personal position on Quick-kick though - redundant as Ninja are available).

I must inform you that your half-hearted defence of Flint and confusing stance on Snow Job has resulted in me launching Operation: Get The Kaptain. As soon as the shops are open again, you will suffer like you have never known suffering before! Andu fully supports me in this terrible yet necessary move.

Flint rocks, simple as. Lt.Falcon is poo and doesn't exist. Lady Jaye is cool. Quick Kick is ok, but disposable. (But none are as cool as Destro.) Footloose and Shipwreck are highly awesome, and I don't mind a bit of Stalker or Gung-Ho neither.
