The first wave of ROC figures (Duke, Snake Eyes, Destro etc) are going in Tesco for £1:99 - after picking up a couple I want more!
It'll be too late now, but Ralph, out of interest, what Sainsburys did you pick the hugely reduced figures in? My local Glasgow ones never had any in, alas!

They were from Sainsburys Murrayfield.
This afternoon they are now around £5-something. Not much left though!
I was pretty impressed with the figures I picked up. Had the line continued in the UK I probably would have planned to buy more, but I'm not into it enough to pay import prices.

I'm sticking to 25th still, where GI Joe (or Action Force as I still call it!) are concerned. I dare not start another army building mission! Mrs Shockers would kick my A-hole! My Cobra army is looking quite good. 20 or so Cobras, some Cobra officers, a squad of 6 Vipers (I use these chaps as Cobras Infantry Commandos, special ops troops), 4 Eels, some Crimson Gaurd, and all the main Cobra characters. Also seem to have ended up with 9 Air Troopers, with the rocket backpacks, I love 'em! Only the one Tele-viper though, could do with a couple more of those chaps. I am a little short on hardware though. This Cobra army does it's fighting on foot! Marvel Universe Captain America made short work of them the other evening though...

Ooh- GI Joe wave 3 showed up in TRU last week. I forgot to say. It has a new Cobra Commander, more Baronesses to add to the unsold pile, some sort of Viper Paratrooper, Ripcord in his Accelerator Suit, the above mentioned Snake Eyes, vanilla Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow and Final Conflict/Jam Factory Explosion Storm Shadow.

what's that Storm Shadow about ? It's a mess. The Cobra Commander is the Doctor version. Para Viper is a superb figure. Snake Eyes is nice, though why his Snow Shoes appear with the City Strike version I don't know.

I've got a 2nd HISS 2 on the way from a nice American. I've decided that the HISS 2/HISS II is the ultimate version of the HISS tank. It's how a HISS should be, double cockpit, troop carrying capacity (the 25th figures just about fit!), I don't even mind the weird triple gun thing! So, between my existing HISS 2, and my vintage red HISS (was given this some 25ish years ago new, it's red, has a red HISS driver, but I'm sure it was called a Hyena on the box), my Cobra army's hardware status is improving.

It was the Action Force version of the HISS. It came with a gentlemen by the name of Red Jackal (as I recall) who I seem to recall being based on the original Destro mould. Karl

Karl: The 2nd link above would imply that Red Hyena's were sold in the 1985 AF line with the HISS drivers instead of withn the Destro mold (as in 1984)

Don't think I ever saw the second release anywhere. Karl (I've learned a new fact today. That is my quota for the week.....)
