God he's good. Isn't he good? I am in love. He's a beast of a figure and the Baroness can sit in a pot on his back. This is the perfect combination of great display item AND toy for me.
Well, except for the He-Man crew.

IIRC the regular 375 Retro line are reissues of the 25th anniversary figures. -Ralph I haven't followed closely, but I believe it's been a bit of a mix of 25th-style figures and old-school o-ring releases, with maybe a shift toward the latter lately? The Duke / Cobra Commander 2-pack that was recently in the Pulse warehouse sale is of the old-school variety.

It seems to be o-rings in special packs. If you check the actionfigure411 link you can see the pattern. Has the retro line itself stopped?

I also don't get why that pulse two pack is so expensive for just two figures.

It's because it's Pulse.

Oh nice. I'll hang fire a bit then and see if I can pick up some foot soldiers for Megs that way.

On the one hand, I liked the opportunity to do boxes which could properly show off the art, but the other day I got the Black Series Mara Jade and opening the book-style packaging to a photo of the figure instead of a window was a bit weird

I'm happy with the card-only packaging with string ties inside (though they aren't completely plastic-free, as there is still sellotape involved. Provided there are prominent actual-size photos of the contents on them.
Regarding MISB, the one thing that always made me _not_ consider something perfect in its packaging was smudge and scuff marks on the plastic window. Lose the window, and I'm more likely to consider an unopened product to be pristine.

Bought the retro Joe 2 packs.
The lure of an white Storm Shadow with all the gear and extras proved too much
Interesting figures, very different plastic to the originals, not so rigid. Good for the hands flexing for weapons, but the toys just feel.... wrong. The backpack pegs being narrower is annoying too.
Never had the original Snake Eyes as such but I had the SAS Driver made from him with a bit more paint.
Will open the other two packs later/tmw

Just saw two new preorders pop up for Classified figures I don't recall seeing announced anywhere - a Python Crimson Guard and Tiger Force Dusty.
I've never cared for the Python Patrol colour scheme, but Tiger Force I loved back in the day and it's been an act of willpower not to get into picking all of those up...

I don't understand what that means. Python Patrol is one colour scheme, Crimson Guard is a completely different colour scheme. Edit: Oh, I see, it's not Crimson at all. Martin

Interesting. So the Classified line hasn't made up the (stupidly named) Python Crimson Guard, but does appear to have made up the Python Patrol B.A.T.? Hmmm, and maybe the Crimson Guard B.A.T. I can forgive them making up ways to recolour the B.A.T., it's a cracking model, but it does my head in trying to work out the organisational structure of my Classified Cobra army. The Crimson Guard B.A.T. is in Crimson Guard colours, so is part of the Crimson Guard team. (I have two black-masked C.G.s, two silver-masked C.G.s and one C.G. B.A.T.) But if I get the Python Crimson Guard, it can't be part of the Crimson Guard team because it's not red, but would come under the command of the Python Patrol Officer, who has already had a dispute with the Viper Officer over command of the Python Patrol Viper. I think colour scheme is going to have to dictate organisational and command structure, because what would be the point of it otherwise? So ignoring unique characters, my army would be broken down as follows: - Infantry (five): Cobra Officer, Cobra Trooper, Cobra Infantry, two regular B.A.T.s - Crimson Guard (five): two black-masked C.G.s, two silver-masked (retro carded) C.G.s, one C.G. B.A.T. - Vipers (five): Viper Officer and Vipers three-pack, Viper (Cobra Island), Alley Viper - Python Patrol (three): Python Patrol Officer, Python Patrol Viper, Python Patrol B.A.T. And one Red Ninja. Martin

I have some but I have no idea where I got them from. It was probably ebay.
I'd guess Matt might have more current knowledge.
