I've got a bunch of 85/86 (ish) Action Force toys in the loft that I'd like to go to a good home. Does Toyfu take non-transformers stuff? If not does anyone know anything similar?

What you got John?
I know the Fu had a foray into Action Force for a TF/Joe con some years back but I don't think they've done it since

I reckon we could take them!

I'll dig them out and take some pictures. From memory the only big vehicle I have is the Cobra Moray Hydrofoil (in its box but it's very battered). Also had Serpentor on his chariot thing and a bunch of other figures.

Wait. Why would this only be available behind the Exclusives Paywall? That...makes no sense.

It's on a site targeted at the hardcore fanbase, well known for items selling out in minutes. It's not for general punters who (if they even hear about it) are unlikely to be able to buy it.
It's a building set. It could sell well to a more general retail audience. Most folk aren't interested in having to sit on sites with countdown clocks just to get their toys.
This is a baffling decision.

Indeed, but none of that is paywalled, which requires an up front subscription to be paid ala Pulse Premium's exclusive access period en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paywall. I'm not sure there's a generally accepted word for what's done here... Most of the crossover stuff Mattel have done with Hasbro (and vice versa?) has been limited to online only I presume due to whatever agreement is allowing the other company to play with the opposition's IP. I'd have bought that small transforming Op if it had been at retail, and cheaper. Brick versions of Hasbro IP don't have a great track record - Hasbro have had at least two attempts - and beyond the core fanbase I'm not sure of the appeal of GI Joe But yeah, I think this could have sold OK at retail.... it could be an online try before they do something in shops? There's always the option of breaking this pack up (or pairing with different Oppo: Skystriker vs Rattler, MOBAT vs HISS) so a non identical product is at retail

I would argue a site designed and marketed to provide product which sell out in minutes is effectively a paywall: most consumers have to pay inflated secondary market prices for most Mattel Creations products.
Having something only be available for a few minutes on one site on one day* is as close to a paywall as customers can get.
Personally, I no longer bother even trying to buy Mattel Creations products. When a company makes it too difficult to buy their stuff, I tune out and spend hobby pennies elsewhere.
-Ralph
*Yes, I am aware some products can hang around but there are the exception rather than the norm. The whole point of the site is to use FOMO to provide quick sell-outs. It's the business model (which seems to work for them).

Time can be a paywall. -Ralph The phrase I usually hear(*) for when things are controlled by timer of availability is "timegating" - as in "gated off by time". (*) - most often in things like "these rewards will drop in game between Week six and 12 of the current season", or "available between xTh of Y and the aTh of B Karl

I'm fascinated that we are seeing Mattel, Hasbro's direct competitor, licensing Hasbro's IP with which to sell products. It is an odd cross-pollination considering that in theory, according to how the economic system is usually explained to us, they should be competing directly for the same dollars.
I am intriqued.

I wonder if this is a sign of an imminent merger. Usually this kind of thing would be prohibited because of the size of the resultant company and the monopoly that it would have. But with the incoming administration I think all bets are off…
