Get the Pit Commando: so much kit you won't know what to do with it. I have two.

SDCC Starcscream goes for such silly prices I shall not trouble my wallet, alas.
In other news, many many months of checking various Poundstretchers for a 2nd City Strike Snake Eyes for the Kaptain finally came to fruition!

SDCC Starcscream goes for such silly prices I shall not rouble my wallet, alas. Me neither. Much as the Starscream colours look rather nice on the Skystriker (II) I cannot justify the price tag on it. Yo Joe! Karl

I have now opened my City Strike/Resolute Snake Eyes. Lovely little figure. The sculpt is great and he comes with such a lovely selection of gear - big rucksack with two grappling hoolks, climbing gear for his feet, a detachable kit pouch, a combat knife, 9mm pistol, MP5, G36 and a katana that attaches to his back in a cavalry style horizontal mount.... I think he is one of the best geared up Joes I have. In fact he is packing enough kit that he pretty much has to lend it out to other folk because he can't carry it all. And to top it all of he is basically the entire toy-line for Resolute into the bargain. Great toy, worth far more than I paid for him, and an absolute steal at that price.

Arctic Assault Destro was opened to day well-quipped is he to hold Joes at bay.
He comes with a freeze gun and a backpack that's fun
A thick padded jacket to warm him quite nicey, and add-on plastic pieces to make him look icy.
An excellent present there I have got I tip my hat to the lads from the land of Scot.

If only it transformed! I do like that Hiss design.
And now I'm made aware of a 25th Shockwave. Must own! Loved that figure as a kid. First thing I ever got from a Toys'R'Us when they opened in Derby.

The thing with a purple H.I.S.S is that.... well, purple is a Cobra colour already so it doesn't really feel to me much like a cross-pollenation, just a new release of the vehicle. That said, that H.I.S.S design is really nice so the world is none the poorer for having more of them in it.

I quite like the look of the Retaliation figures. Not enough to pay import prices, but if any grey imports turn up I may grab a few.

Doesn't surprise me that the Retaliation H.I.S.S is purple as well. It is just such a Cobra colour that it seems like the obvious place to go. Nice that the SDCC one isn't just a recolour though - the redesigned turret was something they didn't have to do but is a nice touch.
Speaking of the Retaliation line I actually quite like some of that stuff. The generic Joe with the S.W.A.T mask is quite good, and the Red Ninja look like really good army building mooks. Some of the vehicles are nice as well - the Ghost Hawk II has a really nice OV10/Dragonfly (the real one, not the Joe vehicle) feel to it, but merged with the usual Joe-universe nonsense weaponry. Looks like being a really good line, shame it'd have to be an import purchase.

Understandable though, considering how badly ROC stiffed at UK retail.
