They all look tall and thin with small torsos, which works fine with less deliberately humanoid toys like the Go! combiners, but these look a bit odd.

Soooo.... £64 a pop for Prime or Starscream, along with another toy that I'd be toy-fuing almost immediately... Nah, I'll not bother then.
Also, I'd love Hasbro to explain how a game can be popular _before_ it is released for people to play... *raises eyebrow*

I remain tempted by that Prime because of the IDW 1.0 vibes that he's giving off. I was hoping that Soundwave would also, since the design is similar to what he had in the latter books (which, again, was based on the Evergreen designs), but sadly he is, as people have said, just too weirdly lanky. I wouldn't mind the long legs so much, it's just that the neck looks too high and the shoulders look too low - he just looks weirdly stretched. Oh well. But I'll need one anyway if I want that Prime, so... that'll be me waiting for sales then.

I'd have pulled the trigger immediately if Starscream and Optimus were packed together.
But after milling on it for the day, I finally preordered the StarBee set. I decided I don't mind Bee as much anymore.
But that Soundwave is a dealbreaker. There's no part of it I like. And like, that is just the absolutely stupidest way to cling onto his tape deck chest.

Yeah Starscream and Optimus are decent, Bumblebee is meh but that Soundwave is dreadful looking.

Got mine today
Starscream is one of, if not the best Starscream in recent years.
If it didn't have all this game gribble, it's exactly what I wanted out of a new voyager Starscream instead of an upscaled classics.
If they retool him to "smooth him out," I will take every redeco they wanna make.
Bumblebee exists.
And as I feared, is an utter nightmare to transform.

I am not feeling the hate for Soundwave, to me he looks like the best of all of these!
Would seriously consider splitting a pack with someone if I weren’t currently geographically mislocated. If that pack goes on clearance on Pulse I’d be straight on it and sell the Prime.

I too would be completely open to splitting PrimeWave, if it wouldn't cost more to mail one or the other across the pond, than just buying the set and absorbing the unwanted one.
