Oh dear. That was a short return wasn't it. Not quite the record I don't think, but even so.... Karl

As it turns out there's a nice bit of 2+2=5 in that article and Joe Mad was always scheduled not to do issues 4 and 5.

Well I shall return for the next Joe Mad issues then.
Mudman 1 by Paul Grist of Kane and Jack Staff fame. Pick this up, great superhero tale designed to be read as serialised fiction.

I tried Iron Fist, but I just could not see what the fuss was all about, to be honest.

Nothing I've read by Fraction has convinced me what all the fuss is about over him.

I enjoyed his Thor one-shots, but otherwise he seems to turn in decompressed crap.

I remember finding The Order okay, but that might be largely due to Barry Kitson.

I enjoyed his run on Punisher: War Journal, although the Hate-monger storyline was a bit long and as soon as I saw that he was starting a 6-part Jigsaw storyline I dropped it like an object that turns out to be much hotter than you initially realised. He's a fine storyteller and wordsmith but I'm not sure he's suited to monthly books.

I haven't read a great deal of Fraction's work to be honest. The Thor One-shots I quite enjoyed and I thought he did a reasonable job with Iron Fist in terms of capturing the idea that IF was a Martial Arts Hero first and a Superhero second. Not read a lot of that run though so I can't really comment too strongly.

Couldn't stand the Order. Loved Iron Fist, loved his Stark Disasembled Iron Man, loved his early Punisher War Journals (especially the Stiltman's wake) liked the Thor one shots.

I remember finding The Order okay, but that might be largely due to Barry Kitson. Oh, I had forgotten about that. I must therefore modify my previous comment. And World War Frank was also good. -Ralph

I suspected you might, that's what the top left of a comic should look like and exactly match which members of the team appear in that issue.
For preference the heads should be drawn by Byrne.
