I have to say that "Form 22.1B of Malevolance" does amuse me. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those actually existed somewhere in the depths of the local council.

The Loneliest Manticore is my favourite. I used to love the FF books and have most of the ones on there.

I just spat out my morning coffee at the Monster That Was A Vagina! That was a bit rude of you. He might have been a proper customer you know. Andy

I used to love reading the Fighting Fantasy books as a kid and even now I still have a fondness for them. I have four of the original books but I've never seen those ones before.
Those type of books were popular at the time and even spawned some other rival versions like Lone Wolf which was also good.

I felt fear as I scrolled down across the cover of Penis of a Vengeful God, and I was so relieved when the trailing end of the fire-belching column from the heavens turned out to be flat with gargoyles around it. I'm sure his missus had the opposite reaction.

There was also another series of books that I think were called 'Choose Your Own Adventure'. These only ran for about three of four books but I enjoyed the ones I played.
Still on the subject of adventure game books can anyone remember the Usborne Puzzle Adventure books? I used to love them as a kid and recently I purchased a few of them off Ebay. They're a bit more childish than the Fighting Fantasy / Lone Wolf etc. books but they are still regarded as classics in my eyes.

Some of those are very funny indeed. This thread needs merging with the FF one in the books forum.
