Does anyone think that maybe using an image search of the G2 uk annual would bring up a match to who the artist was?
There should be enough art work online to maybe set it t a 2 years search.
but would anyone want to know who drew the stores? We still have never had anyone say they worked on it so far. I know it is the worst thing ever printed.

I would expect it would be someone who had worked for Fleetway, so maybe some art match in Sonic the comic.
I don't expect any of the Marvel UK artists (includes those comics finished & never printed), 2000AD crew or DC Thompson. That covers all the Uk companies around back then

It wasn't published by Fleetway.
Grandreams did it, and from the looks of things they got a random design studio to do it.

I would expect Fleetway would be most likely to use free lance artist like how Marvel US like to us. Did IPC have a set of artists? They did stuff like Lookin but wasnt that DC comics cartoon reprints

Given they had no involvement in the annual it's an odd question, but yes Fleetway had a core of artists they tended to use on certain books.
