Morning All!
It's 2023 Week 50
Yesterday: Felt rubbish all day, no voice, coughing quite a bit and all bunged up. Turns out one of the others who we think copped Jonathan's cold has had a +ve for Covid so I'll be testing with some brand new tests later
Today: Not much. Certainly not leading this morning with this voice and not even setting an alarm. Left over pizza lunch, Chinese tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Tested Negative, I am a little surprised tbh!
Still not going anywhere till I shift it mind, nobody wants this.
Hopefully tonight's crispy chilli beef and tomorrow's Lamb Tikka Achari will do the job though I do worry about my tummy after that ......

Morning All!
It's Tuesday
Yesterday: Another day sneezing and coughing and feeling grotty. Negative Covid test but tbh no intention of going anywhere till Sunday. Got a surprising bit done though.
Awake till 2, rain started as I got into bed and the legs responded. Awake 6:15 till 7:30, throat sore needed a drink. Slept till 10:15.
Today: Repeat of Monday. J at College. L may come back today as her cold could be better. Indian tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Hopefully tonight's crispy chilli beef and tomorrow's Lamb Tikka Achari will do the job though I do worry about my tummy after that ...... A worryingly prophetic statement as my tummy has just gone majorly wrong just before I was about to order tonight's Indian which I have now had to pass on :-(

Morning All!
It's Wednesday
Yesterday: Still struggling with my cold. If that wasn't enough the tummy went wrong just as I was about to order the Indian so thought better of it for me - I ordered for J and have half of each of Narn in the fridge ready for lunch today.
Today: Liz due back. Homegroup tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: Made it through day. Is the cold getting better? Not sure. Have I arranged cover for Sunday? Yes :-( Liz home safe. Didn't last nearly as long at small group as I would have liked, own fault, ran out of time for a bath beforehand and forgot drugs at lunch. Stairlift stalled on landing going to bed, will not move, need engineers out.
Today: L teaching, last session this year. Hopefully engineer out this afternoon.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

For the third week in succession, depression and anxiety have been kicking hard this week. Not sure why it is more pronounced this year than it has in recent previous years, but my levels of cognitive and physical energy are way down on normal. I'm getting through, but only by prioritising what I do to make sure I've got the "juice" to get through it all.
I'm deeply grateful to both the games currently being run by the RP group I am in - the mix of high adventure, melodrama and outright shenanigans is going a long way to keep me afloat at the moment. Over a week off coming up - and most importantly the New Year break. Where I can learn from polar bears - close up the entrance to my home, curl up in a comfortable position and hibernate for a while...

I find I dip this time of year every year both physically and mentally - the pain goes up and there's less brain to deal with everything else :-(

It's Sunday - Praise The Lord!
Yesterday: Quiet. Good TMUK call in evening.
Today: Church, later than normal. Chistmas service followed by lunch together. My Chair, projecting for service. May not have enough to do lunch as well as service after this week being not so well, which is frustrating as I'd like to see people. But I've got a group leaders thing Monday and small group meal Wednesday so not burning through everything today might be a good thing.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Well, I've discovered why I've not been able to identify train times to go around London this year... It isn't that the website is wonky. There is massive engineering works in the entire area in between Christmas and New Year. Couple that with an impending storm on the days I am supposed to be going down the parental unit, and the havoc that storms earlier in the month caused with trains down near Chichester... I may be rethinking the Christmas with the parental units plan now.
I may have tempted fate with my Christmas wishes on the call last night. I can hear her giggling and pouring herself a big glass of Lambrini somewhere in the intersticies of reality.
