But the market doesn't like new things! Only proven things! Risk is bad for the market! Slight incremental improvements (or differences) forever!

Must we be trapped in the Hasbro Time Loop or remaking the same toys over and over and over again? -Ralph <* Orisis Voice*> “ It would seem that this is indeed this Has Bro's plan. To judge by the fates of this GI...Joe and Power Rangers they seek to bend our history back upon itself like an oxbow lake. Until the past and the present are irrecoverably bound into a single entity. No future, no novelty, and no escape. Simply an eternal yesterday until all that could have been is ground away to dust in the wind.” </*O Orisis*> < Saint-14 Voice> “So, we find this Hasbro, shatter the chains with which they would bind us and use them to forge a new future where we build upon the past rather than be smothered by it, Yes?” </* Saint-14*Voice> <*Osiris Voice> “Ah Saint. Would that it were so simple.”

I'm not aiming to but you know what my sleep pattern can be like!
I'm not expecting any real surprises. Legacy United w5, late 24/early 25 Studio Series, maybe some TF One. Possibly a Prime tease.
The only unexpected I could see coming are additional Doom n Destruction and possibly Star Raiders. Those capsules both look a little small

As with all decent parties there was some cleaning up to do afterwards.
Got leaks down to six pages this morning and moved stuff right the way back to page 1 to their proper threads!
*THINK* We've got everything and I only made one mistake last night

That display really highlights just how poor Hasbro's support for their own, upcoming film is. Literally just a handful of figures, with the same uninspiring designs in handful of different size classes. A stark contrast to the first film. The shelves should be swimming with figures to generate excitement in kids! But that would eat into executive payouts, so is a terrible idea.

why does godzilla megatron have grimlock's gun? i am totally down for a proper robot dinosaur megatron with actual hands, but this is literally a grimlock with a new head. no changes in its silhouette to make it a visually different. everything about that is a grimlock unless you're up close. that really offends me for some reason.

So Tuesday 17th is apparently Transformers Day: news.tfw2005.com/2024/09/04/studio-series-tfone-bumblebee-reveal-transformers-day-2024-520158Initially I thought that meant we'd be getting an extra on-line event on the 17th, even though PulseCon is on the 13th, but I'm not sure now. If we are, does this mean there'll be very little TF content on PulseCon itself? If so, that doesn't seem right. If not, will 17th just be for "product drops" (where the products don't actually drop, just the-orders, which isn't really a drop)? It's all very odd, but I'm sure that Hasbro marketing know exactly what they're doing. I'm sure they must.

As we pointed out yesterday, 17th September is the anniversary of More Than Meets The Eye part 1 airing in the US tfwiki.net/wiki/More_than_Meets_the_Eye,_Part_1 TF_PR uses it as their date of birth on Twitter x.com/TF_prI've seen other uses of it over the years. As a date for celebrating Transformers Anniversary it will do, though Pinwig will now remind us when the date of TFUK 1 coming out is....

But yeah, I'm expecting product drops that day, though it might enable them to do Legacy at Pulsecon and Studio Series directly after

But what better way to celebrate the anniversary of the first showing than announcing an upcoming figure of the character needed to complete the cast?

As a date for celebrating Transformers Anniversary it will do, though Pinwig will now remind us when the date of TFUK 1 coming out is.... The on sale date on the issue is 20th Sept. Remember the early fortnightly issues had the start and end of the two weeks they were on sale on the cover. 20th Sept was a Thursday that year.
