Morning All!
It's Monday - 2024 Week 5.
Yesterday: Nice lie in, enjoyed church on Zoom, with a sunny day as well I was about as good as I could be for the thing in the building post church. Head struggled a bit, purely cos lots of people talking in a room was proving taxing, but about 90 mins in the pain leapt up. I made it through the remaining half hour but we left promptly and got me home in time for some difficulty with my tummy going wrong :-(
Awake 4 till 5 :-(
Today: Leading 8am and 10am. Not sure what else
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Office day last Thursday. Now hear that 4 (!) folk there caught Covid so we have been advised to test. This is why I refuse to go in unless absolutely necessary. Now shitting myself.

Morning All!
It's Tuesday
Yesterday: Morning went OK. Tummy could have been happier late afternoon/early evening. Not much left come early evening, ended up putting myself on the landing floor at one stage cos had trouble standing.
Odd pains as I got into bed, very fuzzy feeling to nerve signals. Awake till 2am+
Today: L teaching, J college. Hasbro reveals at 3 I believe.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

I would not be surprised if I was similar with a number of cases round a place I'd been.
I know I'm better than it was but a trigger when the head is having a weak moment would not be good

Rang wheelchair services this morning to get a fix for the footplate - the bit on the chair that holds it's arm in place fell off cos the screw sheared through.
Only taken me a week and a half to do.
Hate using the phone!
Also managed to cross another more longstanding matter off the to do list!
Feeling very productive

So am I. Read Chapter 2 of 'Making It So' with coffee and a pastry in Caffe Nero. Visited the Ianto Shrine. Read Chapter 3 of 'Making It So' with a ginger beer in the foyer of the Wales Millennium Centre. Reads Chapters 4 and 5 of 'Making It So' in a pub with a Guinness and some top notch tapas. Returned home to play disc 3 of Babylon 5 on Blu-ray. Martin |

I'm fully vaccinated as well but I am still fairly wary when it comes to COVID-19, and I have had my moments of it tripping my anxiety a bit too so you are not alone there. But take heart from the fact that you are doing what you can to dodge the bug and it seems to be working so far. Karl |

It's Wednesday and somehow the end of January already!
Yesterday: Morning a struggle. Brief sleep then up for the Haslab reveal which I backed before it reached double digits. Evening didn't have much left physically but had some book fun late on.
Today: L & J both out for large chunks of today. Pulse order due. Wheelchair tech due this afternoon to fix broken locking mechanism for footplate arm. Homegroup tonight.

Third negative covid test so going by current guidance I am in the clear. I'll do another one at the weekend before meeting anyone just to be sure.
I got such a fright. I really thought I had put this type of anxiety behind me.

Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: Got through morning OK, got a few things done. Wheelchair engineer turned up early and replaced the Leg Hanger Reciever. That meant I could get to bed on time in the afternoon rather than having to stay up. Got bath in before Homegroup which got me through the meeting ... just. Was a bit of a physical struggle.
Today: L teaching, J at home - probably going to send him out shopping. Probble out for lunch. L has meeting tonight.

It's FRIDAY!!!!
Yesterday: Morning ok ish, face improved as morning went on with sinus pain moving away from round my eyes where it's been last few weeks. Lunch out. Sleep. Ok evening, but pain did roll in later on.
2am. But there was so book fun that's continued out the blocks this morning
Today: Not a lot for me, J college. Liz did have a meeting out but that's been cancelled so we might try for lunch just the two of us. J out tonight.d

On my way to Cambridge to teach on a course this weekend. Should be fun. I have been practicing some magic tricks to liven it up a bit. Beware of my powers.
Absolute chaos when leaving though with Naomi still being in her pyjamas 10 minutes before we all needed to leave and then having a meltdown with some added falling over on the way out to the car. I *think* I have everything I was meant to bring.
I blame her father. He is entirely too soft on her.
