I'm trying to find a copy of the 50th anniversary 2-disc edition, released in 2006. To my surprise, I have drawn a blank on it online or in stores, so I presume it is deleted. If anyone comes across a dusty copy in a shop, please let me know!
I'd rather not yarrrrrrrrrr this one.

Grabbed one off ebay. That was a hard DVD to get! And my last this side of employment, methinks. I will post thoughts when it arrives. The extra features look good and I hope for a decent restoration job. I remember my mind being blown when I first saw it late at night on Channel 4 many moons ago. Used to have the VHS but that vanished alone with my other analogue tapes yonks ago. Hope the film stands up!

Well, I was unable to find a region 2 copy (ie UK release) so ended up with a copy of the R1 release (US version), which cost me a fair few bob. Unfortunately, the picture quality is dreadful. There's a juddering to the motion of the picture, not far above VCD quality. Atrocious. It went straight in the bin.
Suddenly the reason why the DVD was not in print for long became clear.
I shall have to resort to a yarrrrrrrrrr version to see this bloody film!
