Would they keep US UK stuff apart? Would that be a cover gallery & a few years run & if they have features too? But would they count US #33,34,42 - also #50 being more pages - was gijoe#50 more pages? I don't know because only had #138-142.

Similar to the Spawn compendiums I am hellbent on convincing Gav to buy.

Just over £1 each. Always mean to read GI Joe but never get around to it.
So could be tempted.

I demand an Action Force variant, where all the issues have ACTION FORCE written in with a pen where it used to say GI JOE, just like back in the day.
I would actually buy that.

You buy the Compendium. I'll buy the Tipex and black pen.

Would a US collection have the UK stuff in?
Phil's link to that PR has reminded me Dynamite are doing a trading card collection.

YES! This is what I've been hoping for for ages, and had renewed hope when Skybound got the licence.
The only thing IDW did right when it came to classic TF / Joe collections was UK Classics, and that's just because the content was amazing. Which is a shame when you consider IDW have made a good name for themselves on prestige collections.
I know being a compendium at this price it won't be quite at the level of a Marvel omnibus, but it will be nice just to get them in this format, especially GI Joe.

But IDW scans of US stuff was bad. Hachette used their scans. They should have used the Titan one for US stuff. Are Skybound going to get good scans. so no bubbles in the art & text missing.

No Marvel UK then.

Disappointing, and doesn't give me much hope that they're going to do new scans for the reprints.
Doesn't mean a proper remastered collection reprinting all the UK/US material in proper order won't happen in the future, and I can understand them wanting to get the old material out as quickly and in the fewest SKUs as possible.

I expect they'll do a kickstarter for hardcover Transformers compendiums, especially given with how successful the GI Joe one has been.
