People online are fairly confident that Rennaissance is a TMNT crossover. Although I'd be quite quick to dismiss those ideas, TMNT are putting out a lot of crossover stuff at the moment, so it wouldn't surprise me. Also the Stranger Things set could be re-used very easily for this. The robot could become the Turtle Wagon, and the pizza motif is already there. Seems an easy one to me. |

And for 'Renaissance,' mark me down for TMNT also. Though I sincerely hope it's built from ER Ironhide instead of code red. But I'll take either! Studio Series Pablo would be my preferred toy to be reworked into a Turtle Van, but the ideal would be somethinh new like the JP cars. The van's roof should be the robot's back, with it's shell motif. That much should be a no-brainer. And I really hope we don't have a van-front-chest. It's iconic on two guys, but creatively broke on anyone else. |

I'll have to see it but for now, the Turtles van doesn't excite me, seeing as they had a transforming wagon in their own line thirty-odd years ago. Actually, there's a transforming Turtle van in Japan. toynewsi.com/20-50227 Could Hasbro be licensing this mould? |

I kind of like it, but there's something about the head design that looks off and stops it looking Transformer-y. The heads look like they're made of LEGO or something.

I'm a huge TMNT fan but this does not appeal to me for some reason. If i see it on sale some day I may go for it. It's slightly more appealing than the other collabs we've seen, but not preorder level.

I would be more thrilled if it were a new unique character like all the other crossovers.
As it is, this is giving me flashbacks to the dreadful Star Wars and Marvel crossovers, though at least it isn't nearly as awful.
Would also help if it had three-fingered hands instead of five-fingered.
But i like it.

The front of the van appears to be a piece that clips onto the turtle's chest. That seems lazy.

Now that he's arrived in my shop, Mr Wallop is starting to grow on me. But I certainly don't see him worth the full price and still think the Japanese mech is a far superior turtle mode.
