Given that Admiral is the only Power Flip toy we now know Admiral is a codename for Optimus Prime

They'd better do an 'Aaah where's my head!?' Orian Pax toy.

Bumblebee is the only on in both those sets who's also in the Mega Changers, who we've seen and are Op, Megatron, Starscream & BB: We know Op is Admiral. Ace is the only other one on all three lists, he's Bumblebee. Megatron & Starscream are each one of Overlord & Corporal

Is... is that a play feature I see before me?
Could we be experiencing twist AND slash action here?

Don't give a toss about the film, but the toy line is looking fun. If it turns up here.

This is indeed better - actual fun toys for kids to go with the kids' film! Now all they need to do is to actually remember to release and promote them. Hasbro "actually do your one job" challenge, go! That Orion Pax mode is adorably awfully squat - I love it. It's not screen-accurate by any means, but that's not the point - it's a fun gimmick that hopefully kids will like.

The Op might be new: the other two were in Cyberverse and Blurr dates back to RID2015
That Overload is a top toy, I'll be having a Megatron version of it

This is certainly Hasbro going a little further than just reusing the last film or TV series toys for the new film - I expected them to do something like this, but I didn’t expect them to go that far back in time. I won’t be surprised if we get some recoloured Armada toys now…

The problem is that the kiddy toy lines have play features and so many recent moulds just can't be therefore reused.

The legs on the Bumblebee really ruin it.

The legs on the Bumblebee really ruin it. Yup. I would say "that's not so bad, since this is the mainline toy meant for kids, not Studio Series or anything", but we all know that those figures are going to retail for at least £25 each, so yeah, it's pretty bad. Whilst I like what they're doing with those one-step changers, in that the "transformation cog" unlocks their transf- conversion, what it's made me do is realise that this would've been the perfect opportunity to bring back (a version of) the Powermaster gimmick. By which I mean the mainline figures shouldn't be able to transform until you plug a T-Cog accessory in, in the same way that Powermasters couldn't transf- convert without their engines. But this would have been a fun idea, and a play feature, which is exactly why they've not done it.
