Morning All!
It's Monday - 2024 Week 17
Yesterday: Under 5 hours sleep made doing church a bit challenging physically. Then slept 4 and a bit hours during the afternoon and was still tired after.
2am again before I slept. Not firing well today :-(
Today: Leading 8 and 10. Out for lunch with Liz.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Now I know my job is safe, time well spent working out a clearly defined budget for the next six months that allows for important Real Life things to be saved up for while paying off stuff I really should have sorted out earlier (a hangover, of sorts, from pandemic times). Still allows for some hobby funds, albeit much reduced, but I am very happy with it.
Starting to feel much more in control of events after a wobbly period.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday
Yesterday: Not too bad during the day apart from forgetting to post my update yesterday morning, forgetting a cup of tea and forgetting my tablets at lunch. Wondering if I should worry .... Evening a little harder as I showed signs of the cold Liz has.
Awake in the night, digestion pains. Lead suspect is the fish pie I had for dinner that had caused difficulty in the past.
Today: J college. Liz has stuff to do. Homegroup tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Sunday - Praise the Lord!
Yesterday: A struggle: 3 hours+ lost sleep at the start of the night, a dodgy tummy (still effects from the fish pie, which must have triggered something) and some inclement weather do not a happy Phil make. But took the day slow and got through it. Was astonished how much of a difference the hot water made while I was in the bath in the evening - not uncommon if I'm feeling under the weather and get the water temperature right - but the effect faded soon after :-(
2:30 before I slept :-( But feeling a bit better this morning.
Today: Church this morning. I'm still not 100% confident about going in and lasting the service but feel much better than last night.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray the tummy sorts itself out quickly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

So, On Monday I contacted the GP because my anti-depressants are unavailable in any form in the UK (with no date for when supply might resume. It is a "manufacturing issue" apparently - most likely this means that a precusor compound is no longer obtainable due to issues getting it across the border from Europe. The Brexit bullet I've been dodging for years finally catching up to me). The surgery assured me that an alternative would be identified and a new prescription would be issued, and I would be texted once this had been done.
By 5pm on Friday I had heard nothing....So there I was by this morning all prepared to spend tomorrow on the phone to the surgery to try to find out what was going on. At 2pm my phone suddenely leaps into life and starts receiving texts, starting with one from late Monday afternoon from the GP, followed by texts from various people from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday... Apparently texts to my phone were running a little behind. (Still is actually, last I had was from Friday, with no sign of the a couple of texts sent to me today from a couple of sources).
As a bloke once said in a Transformers thing: "And this is why I hate machines..."

Also - finally worked out what size and type of batteries my Kamen Rider W Gaia memory toys take. One swift trip to Morrison later, and I have confirmed that despite being over a decade and a half old, the two Memories I obtained from ebay still work like new! Reassuring, and has convinced me that I should probably look for more original Gaia memories...see if I can get myself a set of powers. After all, what sort of modern Kamen Rider would I be if I didn't have a range of different forms to Henshin into for different fights? (A fairly shoddy one, that's what) :-)
