Morning All!
It's Monday - 2024 Week 18
Yesterday: Pretty miraculous after Friday & Saturday, especially as I didn't get to sleep till 2:30am Sunday. Made it to church and made it through with no trouble at all. Felt MUCH better all day and slept better last night! Thank You Lord!
Today: Leading 8am and 10am. X-Men Epic due :-) Liz out, J college, may need a trip out for lunch by myself.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Picked up my prescription from Boots this lunchtime. Got it home and opened it up to find out what I had been moved onto. The bag contains exactly what I was on before - the stuff that last Monday I was told was not available at all in the UK, and that there was no date for when it might become available... I am very confused.
But nevertheless, I am pleased. I can go back onto my normal dose of stuff as of this evening - instead of the reduced does (150mg, instead of 225) that I had been on all of last week. Which was definitely taking a toll on both my anxiety levels, and my energy levels. Ended up not starting work until 08:15 this morning, because I couldn't stay awake long enough to get up when the alarms went off. Normally I up with or before the 6am alarm <insert Monkee's "Daydream Believer" reference here>, so this was a fair sign that I was not hitting on even half-power. It'll be nice to be back to my proper self.

Going to have to drive to London tomorrow, staying with the missus' family for a few days. It's very difficult to move 2 human beings with a variety of disabilities and 2 dogs (one of whom ditto) in a small car. I am looking forward to when its all over, but nice to be getting some human socialisation, we keep an infection/bio secure household which means no-one ever comes to visit us or invites us round because its too much hassle.

Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: Tough. Fine first thing but when the weather turned and stomach pains started I struggled. Thunderbolts Epic 2 arrived but it was a miracle it was ok given the state of the packaging!
Up in the night, pain in my toe, always a worry given how poor my sensation is there. Very little thunder here but it did sluice it down overnight so I could be better this morning and the Stomach is still a little tender.
Today: L teaching, shopping due
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Ear ache of the last week turnes to infection overnight. Operating on minimal sleep. Off to the Walk-In for the magic spray that usually sorts it.

Back at work and kindly allowed off the phones while I wait for ear pain to die down. Thus, a further sick day is avoided!
Other places I have worked at would never have allowed that adjustment.

It's Saturday and My 51st Birthday!!!!
Yesterday: EXTREMELY busy start to the day with lots of things happening at once, thankfully most of them good. Needed a bit of peace & quiet before lunch out which was nice.
Today: Liz's back is giving her some grief so a planned lunch trip today may have to be postponed. Books due in post. TMUK Zoom tonight. And hopefully some nice eating :-)

Up in Scotland for a wedding this weekend. Thinking of calling in on my old friend Mr Burns for cake, chortles and conspiracy making.

Ah. The Beepbeep noise at two minute intervals has returned. I've verified that it isn't coming from anything in this flat, which implies that it emanates from one of the neighbouring properties. I suspect it is a CO2 or smoke detector low-battery warning. I wonder how many days it will go on for this time? Will it actually break the full-week barrier..? We can only wait and see.
