Morning All!
It's Monday - 2024 Week 20
Yesterday: Odd day, mainly due to having to accommodate an out in the afternoon for church when I'd normally be sleeping. Loosing one of the Guinea Pigs overnight was a big blow that didn't help :-( Church here in London means I need to be in New Malden at 4:30, which means a bus, which means being physically on the bus in the chair before the hoards of shoppers with pushchairs get on. So I left here just before 3 and caught a 131 at the bus station where it starts. Good service but was knackered at end and had to turn down an invitation to go somewhere with friends. VERY tired in evening when I made it back "home"
Today: Last whole day in London. Leading 8am Prayer Meeting in Swindon online though we'll need to see if I can do the 10am one as I don't have ppt here. Lunch at the Vegetarian was the plan but the weather isn't so good for sitting outside today. Back to the Thai tonight with Matt & Tony from University, one of whom's picking me up. And I suppose I should pack....
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's SATURDAY
Yesterday: A good day. Quiet, slow, went well, got stuff done.
Odd Night: stayed up doing things a bit too late (12:45) than couldn't sleep till 2:30 in the morning. Then awake around 6 having had a very vivid dream, then slept till 9:30am
Today: Lunch out with a Martin. Would like to do the GN4S Prayer Meeting at Christchurch tonight but I'm not sure a night out before Sunday is the best idea for me physically, especially after a bad night and lunch out. Only so many physical spoons alas.

Morning All!
It's Sunday - Praise the Lord!
Yesterday: Busy and productive after an odd night. Fab lunch out and then with my friend's help we moved the boxes in our living room to my Mother in Law's garage and measured it out for shelving. Didn't have enough to make it out in evening.
Didn't get off till 2:30 :-(
Today: Church this morning.

Had a bit of a mixed start to the day - had trouble getting started this morning, kept blinking back to sleep for five muinutes at a time between 09:00 and 09:45, which made for a hurried breakfast to try and make it in time to start the regular Zoom call with the parental units. Which failed due to audio issues on the parental units end. I suspect that the microphone on my mothers tablet is kaput, but this is not easy to diagnose at this distance... Rest of the day wasn't so bad. Had an early lunch and then wandered out to the nature reserve across the road with a book. Sat on a bench and did some reading whilst also watching one of the local buzzards wheel overhead. Kept having to apologise to the rabbits every time I passed through any shade on my way out and back - they looked very annoyed to have to give up their spot on the path and dive into the undergrowth. Finished the day with a chicken curry, followed up with a toffee ice-cream cone. Karl

I have also acquirred this evening an 84 liter capacity Really Useful Box. Dang thing is the size of a footlocker! Pretty sure you could get a Fallout characters entire carryweight in stuff in one of these! It should do nicely to contain the non-plamodel robots and mecha that are not on display. It is going to have to, because that is going to be what happens - the Transformers, Robotech, Macross and Mospeada stuff that isn't on display is going to be stored in this box. That which cannot fit into either the category of “on-display” or “in The Box” shall find that it's days are numbered!
