This is a bit out of order, because the one with the fossilizer didn't come out before Earthrise.
I have six of these (Siege, Selects G2, Selects Earthrise G2 x2, Netflix Leader Spoiler, SG, Miner), and only acquired the Netflix Leader one because I wanted the fossilizer, and likewise only acquired the miner because I wanted Ratbat.
I regret Siege as I naively had no idea of what was about to transpire, and there are so many better versions to choose from. Like... pretty much all of them except the shitty ER retool.
I likewise regret buying two ER G2s, because Super 7 Ultimate's G2 Megatron does the job so much better. (The second one was to put on my BW shelf with predacon stickers as Megastorm)

And I stand with Phil, I have to say. Pulse will have them, though you may need to know someone with Pulse Premium to get it. Want one? And not just because I might have to make use of someone who has a Premium account. But mostly that. Because I need this set. Yes. NEED this set. For some reason, despite the million and one times that the Siege Megatron mold has been reused, I still don't have a single version of it at all. (Okay, I have the G2 Megatron, but that's from Earthrise, so I'm not counting that.) They've been slowly updating better and better repaints and variants, but I've held the line, hoping that there'll be a better one. Netflix Megatron was nice, but I held. Various premium decos, but I held. The Miner Megatron that came with Senator Ratbat was really nice, they both were, but nevertheless I held, because something made me think that better was on its way. And here it is. And I'm not actually talking about the Megatron. The previous Miner version is probably slightly better, and I'd prefer that over his Origins colours and deco. But I'll have to get this one because this is the Orion Pax/Optimus Prime design I've been waiting for since Stormbringer. That's nearly 20 years. Longer, if you consider that this was a reworking of the The War Within Optimus Prime. I know there's been a couple of third party efforts, but nothing official. So this set... this set I must have. |

It's kinda weird that now IDW lost the license and theirs is a dead continuity, while we now have an entirely new comic from an entirely different publisher, we're actually getting all these IDW based figures.

There's a Skybound set apparently in the works for next year
Bar a brief period in 2013, and a carryover into 2014, IDW was poorly served for toys of their comics at the time

I'd not appreciated how extensive the remolding was until seeing this. I thought it was just the chest, head and shoulders, but there's so much more. And the proportions are so much better now - the original one's starting to look ridiculous...
