Morning All!
It's Monday - 2024 Week 29
Yesterday: Not a good day physically, major spasming session in church. Pain dragged my head down. Slept all afternoon, went out for a nice ride in chair in the evening while the rest of the country was footing the ball.
Couldn't sleep till 2:30, pain. Not great this morning. :-(
Today: Leading 8am and 10am. Need to ring wheelchair people as chair suffered some damage at church in an encounter with a door.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

I knew we'd need to explain this to you eventually as it involves decent music & song lyrics Last week was my 20th Wedding Anniversary So, as the week title, I chose "First We Take Manhattan" because the first line of that song is "They Sentenced Me To Twenty Years Of Boredom" (The last 20 years have been anything but boring!) You reach the refrain for that song and the first line of it is the song's title "First We Take Manhattan" followed by "And Then We Take Berlin" as Ben reminded us last week. tmukhub.proboards.com/post/524813/threadThat lodged in my head so I used it for this week's title There are follow on ideas wedged in my head

Morning All!
It's Tuesday
Yesterday: Physical struggle, but got lots of little bits done. J had the Old cooker removed. Need someone to wire in new one and I think we'll have to pay for a sparky to do it properly
Fall as I was getting into bed, ankle gave out. Spilled the water I was carrying all over me. Leg not great this morning, balance poor.
Today: Wheelchair engineer booked for this morning cos I snapped a leg hanger receiver off a few weeks back then on Sunday caught the left side arm in some doors and nearly yanked it off. If he's done early enough and it's fine I'll go out for lunch with J. New Midsummer tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday
Yesterday: surprisingly busy, mainly thanks to a toy reveal that triggered some work. Chair repair delayed till afternoon so I popped out to lunch with J and got back to find the engineer waiting for me half an hour prior to when they said he'd be here!
Today: I'd hoped for not a lot for me but this morning has been busy already and I'm about to disappear to Grandma's garage to sort some stuff. She-Hulk Epic due. Homegroup tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: Busy morning, back down to Mother in Laws to do some stuff in garage and probably did too much. Fall just after dinner meant I had to cut homegroup short.
Pain later on meant I had difficulty sleeping
Today: Food order due. Chair engineer back with a part he didn't have Tuesday. Hopefully a box from Pulse. 2nd test starts, hope to hear more of that than I did of the first!
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

So, two days after the two boxes of ToyFu donations were put into the hands of DPD, and I am still a bit surprised to look over my shoulder and see them not sitting in the living room. They spent several months sitting there, first being filled, then the contents bumblewrapped, then finally waiting for me to get my brain in gear and arrange to get them shifted. I think they've been there so long that my brain keeps going "wait, something has changed! No, wait...false alarm, I know what it is" every time I look that way. :-)
Not to worry though - it won't be long before that space is filled with another box filled with Nerf weapons, books, miscellaneous toys, and clothes to go out to the charity shop. The most recent Great Reaving continues. Even LEGO minifigures have departed this month - going northward to a good home. That is the nicest thing about ceasing to be a collector - when you can move things on to a good home. There is something satisfying in that.
