Both children back to school today - I've now got TWO high-schoolers which has made me feel VERY VERY old. Dad's condition worsens day by day and he is sleeping 90% of the time now, so I'm trying to prepare myself for the inevitable. Trying to use the little spare time I have to block out the rough layouts for issue 3 of my Desolation fanzine. I think I've got way too over-ambitious with a convoluted plot line as I'm struggling to put it all together artistically in a way that makes sense.

Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: Day went OK: Dentist done quick, made it down to garage, did jobs I needed to. More shelves ready for garage. Evening was a struggle, pain high felt like weather pains, I know bad stuff is incoming.
Slept OK, Thank You Lord, but still in pain this morning
Today: L out for work. Food order due which has sone storage boxes for me in so I can start to pack the rest of my TFs away for transport to the garage. 40th anniversary of starting secondary school today - that's doing my head in a bit! Last two Star Seekers are in Swindon, should have them today if all is well which will complete that capsule.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

So... next week there was supposed to be an open meeting at work where we would be briefed further regarding the situation for the institution. I had hoped that as a result I might get some sort of hint of what the implications might be for my job. Yesterday we were told that it was being postponed. Which means I am sentenced to remain in Limbo (*) for at least the next two months. I've been waiting for the Damoclesean Sword to drop or not drop since May, by the time I might have any hint one way or another it will have been six months of not knowing a &^%$ thing.
Assuming that the increasing stress level does not simply make me explode like a balloon in a vacumn chamber in the interim.
Karl
(*) - This is not the fun kind of Limbo either. I do not get to play videogames with Illyana, share a coke with Kate, or wait upon the Goblin Throne and its Queen. I have drawn the short straw when it comes to Limbos I feel.

Meanwhile, our service has collapsed in less than six weeks after the cuts were enacted. If only this could have been predicted. I was in tears in a meeting this morning.

🙁 Sending good thoughts both your ways.
I don't think I can remember a time when Education ever went through any period of sustained growth in terms of staff support etc. Only ever seems to be the opposite.

Ooops. Forgot this morning
Morning All!
It's FRIDAY!
Yesterday: Dominated by the weather. Rain caused lots of pain and I was very unstable. Hadn't planned on going anywhere, as I was waiting for a parcel, but what I'd planned here couldn't be done cos Asda didn't deliver the storage boxes I needed. Fortunately Liz found me some better ones while out for work and over half the toy cupboard in my room is loaded.
Today: .... I'll be emptying two of those boxes and sorting the contents! Another parcel due, that's every day this week. Prep for Sunday needs doing, already got instructions for the ppt. J at college, Liz out late afternoon & evening, J out this evening too.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

It's Sunday - Praise the Lord!

Today: Church. And probably little else.
