I'm liking that alot, especially because we get to see Galvatron's original colours on a cover again. It definitely looks like a UK G1 cover to me, but there does seem to be something missing. There's a large portion of the sky that's completely empty that's just dead space. I still like it though.

Are Galvatron and Cyclonus getting ready to roll dice?

Scourge has just rolled - all bets are off!

Cyclonus is doing the Dan Khanna poster pose. It's competent but not exactly an energetic cover.

I didn't think Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge were _in_ Space Pirates.

The Space Pirates story arc finished after issue 3 Martin and so, IDW are reprinting other UK stories to make up the issues. Issue 4 was World's Apart but I haven't a clue what issue five contains until I pick it up.

It's a nice cover, but bloody daft to use when the actual Space Pirates story doesn't have those guys in it.

It's a nice cover, but bloody daft to use when the actual Space Pirates story doesn't have those guys in it. "Space Pirates" doesn't, but like the rest of the IDW reprint series the title isn't necessarily the best guide to what you get between the covers. I only had a very quite glimpse through this issue today - I was in two minds as to whether to get it but had to hightail it back to the office - so I'm not sure which issues it is actually reprinting, but Cyclonus and Scourge certainly make an appearance. I shall try and get another look at it at the weekend if I am near a comics shop and try and find out which stories it is. Karl

Yep, I can confirm Space Pirates #5 is reprinting Wrecking Havoc. Copies here if anyone wants one - www.oneshallstand.com/comics4.htmlAccording to my Diamond order catalogues its Time Wars after this. However the Time Wars story doesn't start until issue 2 so I'm betting we'll get Altered Image and Dry Run in issue #1. Lets hope they resist the urge to re-release Firebug.

I have a soft spot for Firebug. I don't mind it. In context it worked well as a nice 'breather' between the World Shattering Epics either side of it.

Hmm... well I suppose. It just seemed a bit in consequential at the time, and this was also the week when the comic published on non-glossy paper, giving the impression some cost cutting was occuring. That is bugger all to do with the story of course, but overall it didn't leave me feeling like a very satisfied reader that week.
And what do you know? 20 years on, I'm still moaning about it.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm still annoyed at the hefty price increase to 45p two decades later! It should till be at 30p! 30p, damn it!

You might get 'Cold Comfort and Joy'. Or the Scorponok/Highbrow story 'All in the Minds', which also leads into Time Wars. Martin

I wonder what they'll reprint after Time Wars? The five-page black and white stories would be nice but somehow I can't see that happening.

I still hope that the early UK comic and annual stories that Titan did not reprint get another spin, but it's looking increasingly unlikely at this rate!
