Must have been a glitch when they first added them. They all disappeared on a page refresh then came back a bit later, and all in-stock. Preorder for Gears is in!

Still annoyed that they couldn't be bothered to re-sculpt Bumblebee's face to match the card art. This one's meant to be like the toy! And baffled that they've packaged Gears with his chest detached. I get why they had to do it in the Legacy release, but this is in a bubble. And is meant to look like his card art. One job. Just one job...

Bumbebee may just be down to no budget for a new head and/or a way to get a much-demanded mould out after rights with Netflix expired. It's essentially a reissue of a hard to get toy.

It's essentially a reissue of a hard to get toy. -Ralph I hadn't considered that. That said however, with several walmart exclusives getting mass release reissues (Crasher, Netflix Soundwave, Galaxy Shuttle), there are different and better ways they could have done that. Which leads me to believe that has nothing to do with the otherwise baffling mold choice, here. On a side note, I don't want to see this mold ever again, unless it is as Tapout and/or Glyph. (Preferably just Tapout with Glyph using SS86 'bee for variety) |

A Bumblebee toy that was hard to get?? Yup. It was part of the Netflix line and over here was a Smyths exclusive, made doubly hard due to covid lockdowns. Any that turned up on import above RRP for online stores also went very quickly. It was the Volkswagon vehicle mode: folk had asked for that for years so, yes, it was in high demand. -Ralph |
