No real surprise. Our GAME went from a reasonably popular stand-alone full size store, to a tiny department tucked away upstairs within House of Fraser. You wouldn't even know it was there without going well into the shop and looking around.

The owners of Game are aggressively moving into the toy market. There have been various items on this in the toy industry press. The trouble is, it doesn't seem that this is being communicated to the public. It seems to me that there are disparities between what the owners want Game to be, what regular customers want Game to be, and what the general public (ie potential or casual customers) perceive Game to be.
