Steven Spielberg has stepped down from his advisory position with the Beijing Olympics because of China's links with the Sudanese government.

I don't wish to criticise his reasons for stepping down, but thought I'd point out an apparent hypocrisy on Spielberg's part that has been missed by the media. Just how much money does Spielberg make from production of his merchandise in China? For example, movie Transformers are made in China under license from Dreamworks; I daresay he will have a share of the Indiana Jones toys that are currently in production there.
