Ive been planning on working on a bunch of customs for about a year, but never got the all the parts together. Then I won Fearswoop on ebay was inspired and one junked classic jetfire later.   Andy |

Nice going there - I like the new nose section, that is a very nice job. Looking forward to seeing it as it progresses.

Cheers. Got lucky with the nose cone (I really dislike Jetfires so replacing it is a bonus). When I bought Jetfire I some how failed to notice it was missing.  ............... erm yeah Im blind or stupid. Fortunately I had one of those horrid Poundland Darkwings which seems to have filled all the gaps nicely. Robot mode. Needs a new head, but otherwise its just finishing up I think.  Andy |

(I'm not a big fan of Classic's Jetfire's nose either. They did so well with the F-14 aesthetics of the rest of him, and then up front they slapped on some hideous cubist collision between a Super Sabre and a Phantom. Asthetically nasty, and the reason that my Jetfire spends his time in humanoid mode.) Looking very nice indeed there - the new nose blends perfectly. As to a new head - might it be possible to do something with the slip-over spare head that Classics Jetfire has? Maybe slice off the lasers and give him some plasti-card head-strakes to match the original Fearswoop head? Karl |
