Personaly I think no. He cheated. End of. The punishment at the time was 2 years and a life ban from the Olympics. And that should stand. I hated the way after he won his race yesterday that he described the whole thing as an 'ordeal'. It's like he isn't sorry he took drugs, just sorry that he got caught. If it wasn't for that attitude I may have a little voice in my head saying "everyone deserves a second chance, and he could still be a role model showing what you can do with a second chance." But after the way he was talking about it after his race, no way. Give some one else their chance.

I don't think he should but the fact that the IOC doesn't have a worldwide lifetime ban policy in place means he will get his ban overturned easily enough.
If the athletes are cheating using performance enhancing drugs I'd up the ban from two years to five years so chances are should an athlete get caught it would pretty much end their career.

I've said it before. I'll say it again. That's a really disgusting saying.

It's a saying my father uses.

I like it. I'm going to use it in conversation myself from now on.

There are a few variants on it as well, my own father favours "My heart bleeds purple shit for him."
Learned during his time in the Army I believe.
