Interesting. I only get next doors cats and dogs and the odd kestrel roaming into my back garden.

I take it just after you took this picture he leapt onto his hoverboard just to the right there and went off for one last crack at that Road Runner.

That is so cool.
Our back garden gets a lot of cats, but Susie takes care of them by chasing them away. (We have a pigeon loft so cats are a big no no). We also get loads of Hedgehogs at night. Susie has yet to be hurt but is deeply fascinated by them. Myself I have a lot of time for the hedgehogs and will quite happily sit and watch them wander around the garden before vanishing.
We used to get a lot of mice but sadly not recently.

Been a while since I've seen a road runner. But, in addition to waterfowl, I've occasionally seen various hawks, buzzards, eagles (there's a pair of bald eagles in the area) ... any wonder the squirrels are nervous?
Years ago we had a rather beautiful bobcat in the area, but I never got a picture of it. This coyote is probably moving through and will be gone once the bunnies and outdoor cats are depleted.
