Sounds like a lovely journey that you had there Nick.
I went for a train to Falkirk at half-eleven this morning thinking that it would be relatively quiet being a Sunday and all. Silly Karl, it is Edinburgh Festival time. The result was that we were crammed onto the train like Japanese commuters at rush-hour. I was shoved into the corner at one of the doorways, and to get out once we reached Falkirk I had to slide myself between two pushchairs and an elderly American with a large case. It was quite an involved operation. I gave the woman behind me a hand out with her pushchair because the people trying to push their way onto the train at Falkirk High seemed less than enthusiastic about giving her the necessary space to get off.
A slightly more fraught journey than I had expected on a Sunday morning.
Never mind, I have some borrowed Battle of the Planets to watch and a newly acquired Iron Man trade to read, so I am sorted out for the afternoon.

Nick.
You seriously need to write a book about Glasgow public transport. I'll illustrate it for you it would be comedy gold.

No-one OWNS a Longtooth they simply are custodians of his awesomeness on a temporary basis.

I've got the inner robot, but no shell, so it doesn't really count.

I have one. Got him back in the day along with Stranglehold from Toymaster in the Barras. I remember being slightly underwhelmed by Stranglehold but enjoying Longtooth's mini-tank mode- even though (perhaps even because) the entire back half was carried outside the shell as a sort of backpack.
