Yesterday, I found Animated pinball machines in Cash Generator, of all places. They were £11.99, though last year, Toys 'R' US, Home Bargains and Poundstretcher all had the movie version for £9.99. As if on cue, I bought one from Home Bargains yesterday for £9.99. (They were actually there about a week ago, but I forgot to mention it.)

Asda are also doing the Pinball machine for £9.99 at the moment.

Ha! I would have loved that as a child.
Pity the Ladybird books weren't like that. A Walkman under the pillow just isn't the same.

My mind has just exploded at the thought of a cuddly Ladybird TF book.

ASDA Clydebank had an endcap of Animated colouring sets: some pictures and crayons. For only one Earth pound, you too could be the next Yomtov!

So, I take it that this set has several purple crayons then?

A variety of exciting colours! Amusingly, the example 'coloured art' is extremely Yomtov-esque: Prime is the wrong colours!

They must be made of Unobtainium! -Ralph Solid twenty-four carat unobtanium I should think. Translating that into Yen gives a price of 23,000 (and change), even allowing for a 100% markup on importation that seems rather more than the market will bear for a novelty watch. Karl

It'll be like the watches they sell on the shopping channels. Give it 5 minutes and it'll drop down to 15p.
