Optimus Prime cake! -Ralph Isn't that the movie-accurate cake? (tastes like metal). I for one am so glad Andy took those Optimus Prime sweets off me at Scotcon - I can't bear to throw edible things away, but those were unpleasant to attempt to eat. Karl

There's a convenience store in my street. My mother came back from there this morning and told me there were half price Transformers advent calendars. Not having been able to find the Bumblebee calendar, my curiosity was piqued. (I had looked in the shop before but they'd had no Transformers calendars at the time.)
The advent calendar turned out to have both Optimus and Bumblebee on the front. Is this a previously unknown calendar? The Optimus one seems most common and I was under the impression that the Poundland sightings were for a Bumblebee-only design.
On the subject of advent calendars, I noticed yesterday that the Optimus picture has been reversed on his solo calendar, his gun arm on his left rather than the usual right. I just checked the Bumblebee/Optimus calendar and those stock images are also reversed.
In related news, Home Bargains has the ickle lenticular sweetie tins for 39p; if memory serves, that is cheaper than Woolies had them for.

I have seen the OP BB pack not sure if I mentioned it though. Neither it or the BB one comes with the large chocolate at the bottom, which is why they are cheaper I suppose and why I decided to stick with Prime.

I've been meaning to reply ever since I started opening the second calendar. It does have less chocolate (50g versus 95g - and it does have a chocolate for Christmas Day, but a standard sized one rather than the large one) but that is not the only reason it's a cheaper price - it's also more cheaply produced. The Optimus calendar has colour pictures behind and on the back of the doors; the chocolate is foil-sealed. The Optimus/Bumblebee calendar has monochrome pictures behind the doors and nothing on the back; there is no foil.

Fantastic, and I was just beginning to feel despair as I have been unable to find any edible Easter related TF products.

I hope this bodes well for Easter eggs. We'd best not get our hopes up too much, though: the shapes apparently have a BBE Nov 08, which is what the advent calendars had. They could be previously unreported Christmas chocolates.

Last week in Dunfermline (only place I have seen them) I consumed a couple of Transformers 'Crazy Pops'. These are very strange. Each comes with one of 48 thrilling stickers to collect.
The Crazy Pops consist of a bag of popping candy into which can be inserted...a strawberry flavoured human foot.
Yes.

If only I could get one of the storage doobreys. It would be great to use one of those on my AA stand.
I like the table and chairs, too.
