I'm watching a salesman from Blokees talking through a line I didn't know about. Looks like good tat, kinda like RED combined with mashups done a bit better I think. blokees.com/products/blokees-figures-transformers-galaxy-version-01-roll-outSeveral different scales/lines but the core one seems to be 10cm blind boxed G1 figures retailing at £7.99. I think they're a Game exclusive. |

I get the feeling that, though a lot less than they used to be, they’re still faintly embarrassed about the collector side of Transformers. |

I hadn't thought of that until now, but maybe GI Joe crashing out of the mainstream for so long is what allows it to be more explicitly collector-oriented? At least in the eyes of Hasbro execs

Hmm. Transformers and edible items? I mean if they’re into that kind of thing then they could do a range of figures that turn into food and household objects and the like. Maybe sell each of them for just a couple of quid. Have them blind bagged. … Nah. That’ll never catch on.
