AA2009 Voice Actor Nominations

Which voice actors would you like to see at AA2009? If we get enough votes for a particular voice actor maybe Simon and Sven could take note knowing who the fans would like to see at next years convention.

Frank Welker would be nice. Not just for Transformers, but because he's one of the most talented and versatile voice actors in the business and would be a very interesting guest. As such, however, I could imagine he might be pricier/busier than others. It would be a real coup if a European con got him.

And Peter Cullen would be nice. He is the voice of Eeyore!

Frankly, I would wet myself if the Star Dub guys turned up. I would have many, many, many freshly prepared voice-over scripts ready to make them/persuade them nicely to do. And of course I would petition to join their holy order! And if they said no....I would send them straight to Helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. Muh huh huh. Just you watch what I can do. What's that you say? Foretress Maximus has come at last! Uh. Today is the day he's gonna die. My lord, you are brilliant!

I thought I'd go for Gregg 'me, Grimlock' Berger and see if he can recite a few lines from the character he made his own. You'll notice that I only included five voice actors in the above poll. Why? Because I couldn't think of any more off the top of my head at the time (I even had trouble remembering David Kaye's name until it came to me).

Ralph, I'm sure a load of Malaysian voice actors would agree to do your script for you because they are probably out of work at the moment and have been since 1990.

Did anyone ask Dan Gilvezan to do his Bumblebee voice at AA2008?

Yes, someone did - to which he replied "I'm doing it now."
It got a laugh.
He did then say a line or two as Bumblebee - something like "Optimus we'vegotto stop the Dececepticons from (doing something).
He came across as a really nice guy.

Yes, he was quite an amusing guy which is how I like celebrities to act. To a certain extent it was the fans who put him where he is and he rewarded them by treating them with respect unlike certain celebrities you read about in the papers.
