Reported (with prices) at TformersAt the current exchange rate, Piranacon is around £65 and Nightbeat is £25. I must say I was expecting them to be a little more. HOWEVER if you aren't a member you have to pay the $40 (about £22) basic club membership fee. The thing is, that's the domestic fee- it's $89 if you're outside the US to join the Club and it doesn't say if you have to pay that if you're a non-member overseas. Add on postage as well and it swiftly mounts up. I'm hoping to get to Botcon again next year. Hopefully I'll be able to find a kindly soul in the States to use as a 'local' address for them to send all the magazines and crap to, then buy a Seacon set (or three) at the lower price. -Nick

I imagine you'll be able to get them on eBay for not much more than the club rate. If you can I'm in.

The toy price arent to bad but the postage is a killer. Nightbeat is $42, Seacons $50 something. Both costs $60. Its annoying as I was planning on getting the Seacons later. But they are apparently selling pretty well so I'll probably have to get both sooner rather than later.
If anyone wants either let me know as I dont mind adding to my order (when I make it) as the combined postage does keep dropping off.

Not really interested in the toy but I am curious about that Nightbeat pack in comic so if someone want's to go halfers with me they can get the toy and I'll nab the comic.

Not really interested in exclusive TF toys myself. When I get a toy I tend to release it straight from its packaging, transform it a few times and then display it somewhere in my bedroom where it soon gathers dust! If I ever brought one of those toys I'd have to try and keep it in its box because of its exclusivity and because of the price I paid for it which is near impossible for me.

The Seacon set is a must for me. Anyone sees it going for a reasonable price, let me know! The other side of unemployment, preferrably.

Did anyone shell out (HA!) for the Seacon set in the end?
I am tempted. Very tempted.

If I'd been earning, I would have done so having waited for four years for this set to come out. But Real Life meant it was not to be, alas.

I would have bought the Nightbeat, if it had been cheaper. I have a similar problem to Zudobug - I would buy it, play around for it a little while and stick it on a shelf or in a drawer somewhere to gather dust.

I still plan to but the sales seem to have slowed or stopped at around 80% for the seacons and 60 for Nightbeat, so I'm putting it off as long as possible.
