It's September. Why are the flies not dead? I seem to have acquired a pet one, called Boris. Whenever I open the windows to air the flat, he comes in and flies around for several hours. I hate him. He also seems to like following me around and buzing about my head. Bastard. I have every window open in here and will he fly out? Will he hell. FFS.

I have a wasp that does that, he sits on my transformers heads, does some kind of humping motion on them and soaks up the sun through my window then he flies off. Like clockwork he is, I hear this little donk at the window if it isn't open early enough in the morning, I don't like wasps but I don't have the heart to kill this one. Maybe i'll make him a little hibernation box I've also discovered a band called BarlowGirl accidently while watching a strange fan-made video of Starscream...but I really like them now, not the video though, no.

A wasp that humps Transformers toys? Well, um, golly.
A fun evening of reading up on stuff for a job interview tomorrow morning lies ahead as well as lots of cursing when I try to iron suitable clothing. Alas, my one white shirt has vanished so I bought another one. Then another. Then another until I had one that fit. Shirt sizes confuse the hell out of me. I don't want to compute which collar size goes with which chest size FFS. Just mark it S, M, X or XL. Life would be simpler.
My 'good' shoes had holes in them so had to buy a new pair. Cash I could have done without spending, but no choice really. Will chuck some more stuff on ebay at the weekend to pay for them.
Hilariously, got a letter at 5pm* asking me for interview for a job I don't want. I can't even fuck up job apps anymore, damn it. That involves a 2-hour 'open evening' on Wednesday and an interview on Thursday. Though the note telling me what to bring was missing, so I'll have to phone round tomorrow.
Hopefully I won't need it.
-Ralph
*The post now regularly does not arrive until around 5pm. Been like this for a couple of weeks now. The postie seemed stressed out of his mind and ranted about 'them' before running away. Poor bastard.

Open evening? Don't believe it, Ralph. They'll be assessing you.
But I really hope you'll be in a position to snub their advances by then.

Had interview this morning for the job I really want. Not my finest half-hour, I have to say. They are interviewing folk all week so successful candidates get a call on Friday afternoon. My gut instinct (rarely wrong in these kind of things) tells me I blew it. Ah well.
'Open evening' for the other one tomorrow. Hmmm.

And then, in the afternoon, I quite counselling. On the way over, I popped into a pub to use the loo. At the far end, a pair of legs in blue coveralls stuck out from a cubicle. An elderly man walked in and made his way to a urinal. A few moments later he yelled: "Oh Jesus! Oh Jesus!" "No. I'm the plumber." said the pair of legs in the cubicle.

Hello Sportsfans. I'm as blocked as blocked can be at work. I'm becoming extreamly concerned over my post count. But fear not! We have purchoosled a new PC! At looooooonnnnggggg frakin' last! Prob take us another bizillion years...
All ok in the Shockprowl household. Piglet alternates between being a Seal, an Owl, a Dolphine and a Princess. I'm concerned she's developing a split personality. Para course looms. So I'm swating up on drugs.
Believe it or not, although I can't get on The Hub at work, I can get on Ebay! What's that about?! So I've gone alittle mad! Transmetal 2 Tripred Agent is on his way, Predaking's head and Tantrum and ofcourse 'you know who'!!!!! More overtime, me thinks...
Hope everyone's ok and being cool!

IIRC you can only exalt once an hour. Unless you have GodMod power. I try to exalt at least once a day.
In other news, Boris the fly is back. He's in the bedroom. I opened the windows but he would not go out.

Ralph is quite correct - Godmods can manually adjust karma but conventional exhalting is 1 per hour.

Plus I've been wared I'm getting pulle din for spending too mcuh time in work fucking about on the net.
I wonder if a hangover will help matters.

....and that's my 2-year counselling stretch drawn to an official close as of this evening*. Up until this week I was utterly adamant that was The Final End and I wanted nothing more to do with it. But my internal reaction has completely surprised me and I know I'll be back at it. Somewhere. Somewhen. Damn it.
Tomorrow is 'sit by the phone day'.
I am completely cabbaged from the week's events.

Might be worth phoning said prospective employer on Monday and checking. I've found a few times that companies times for getting back to you are not as accurate as they'd have you believe. Whether you are successful or otherwise.

I dealt with it by going and buying a takeaway, a huge bar of chocolate and a bottle of coke and watched some he-man episodes. Then felt stupid and stressed for blowing a tenner.
