Attention Glasgow Hubbers! The Movie Carabiner set is only £4.99 in Forbidden Planet - it's the big one with the strap and EVERYTHING.
Run, don't walk.
Also: Oil Slick down to £5.99 now on Play.com - and they're taking Pre-Orders for the colour abomination that is Roadbuster Ultra Magnus.

Universe Onslaught and Powerglide are selling for 12.50 on Amazon UK at the moment. For that price I'm almost willing to overlook Onslaught's rubbish siren and Powerglide's sickening obession with Energon Jetfire. Almost. Damn, back to 25 quid, should have leapt on that when I had the chance

The US has some fixed Onslaught sirens. No sign of them in the UK.

ASDA had endcap display for 'Tra Crossover' at £5. As I was somewhat innebriated after a few lunchtime pints I picked up the one that was sitting on the shelf (Black Costume Spider-Man). Rung up at the till for £3. Hurray.

Well done, I would like to attribute the £2.00 difference to the alcohol you had imbibed.

For the first and last time in my life I showed a receipt to Nick to prove I really had picked up a £15 toy for £3 and did not imagine it.

Forgot to say though that the Sideswipe was badly scratched inside package so they'll be lucky to shift it at any price.

I heard rumours that Sainsburys have Universe on 2 for 1. Is this true or another taunting lie? I dont have a Sainsburys that stocks toys anywhere near me. Despite living in like, the second biggest city in the country

I heard rumours that Sainsburys have Universe on 2 for 1. Is this true or another taunting lie? They didn't at the end of last week when I was in, but that was about seven days ago so who knows. Karl

Sainsburys has a 2 for 1 till 3rd of March I believe.
My Asda had Universe deluxes at £6. With my discount Ironhide fianlly looked worth a try. Also had Silverstreak, but I wasn't to impressed by Prowl so I passed for the time being.

Looking at some of the comments on Universe Galvatron's play.com page:
"Completely agree with radji1, while the chest area looks rather similar to the original galvatron that is pretty much where the similarities stops, the original galvatron was the size of the autobot metroplex when in robot mode whereas here he is the size of, silverstreak, acid storm ect. If you buy this it is best to leave it unopened and hope it is woth something once ur great great grandkids t passed down to them"
How DARE they have some sort of proportion to other toys in the line?!?!!?
I think I'd pick up Oil Slick if i could remove the head-bubble without causing problems with the vehicle mode. Anyone know if it's possible? I think someone touched on it before but I couldn't find the post.
