Only get the first one. There's fuck all of any value on the second half of S2. Andy Not true. I seem to recall it had 'Four Warrior's Come out of the Sky' (Star Dub edition) as an easter egg.

Easter Eggs on DVD's piss me off so much. When I buy a DVD I expect content to be described and accessable. Can never be arsed hunting through menus to see if there are extra bits that should be bloody easily available!!!
Rant over.

2-disc version of the 2007 movie is now a fiver at ASDA.

2-disc 'ultimate edition' of the animated movie now down to one Earth pound in FOPP. Jings.

Some oddities in Poundland today. 'Classic Transformers: Series One - Part One' and 'Classic Transformers: Series One - Part Two'. Presumably this means season 1 of the 'The Transformers' can be yours now for two Earth pounds.

Hmm originally released in 2007, don't remember these at all.

They are amusingly placed right beside the 'adult' DVD's in Poundland. 'Dirty Housewives' (subtitle: 'When they're bad, they're really good'), 'Dude, that's my mom!' and something to do with knickers.

I picked those two up a wee while ago, bog standard Metrodome stuff with annoying audio additions. Worth two quid of anyone's money!

Piles of the 1-disc vanilla 'Ultimate Edition' of the animated movie have also turned up in Poundland, beside 'The Lover's Guide'. Not sure what the cross-sell is there.

The Works has piles of cheap Sunbow in. Individual volumes, animated movie 'Reconstructed' and 'Ultimate Edition' vanilla release versions. £3 a pop or 2 for a fiver.

Morrison's have the vanilla edition of the 2007 movie marked fown to £4. I remain untempted.
Sunbow once again haunts the shelves of the local Poundland: the 86 movie and season part 1 (but not part 2 - perhaps there was a stampede for copies of Heavy Metal War last time).

The 'best of' Armada DVD has returned to haunt ASDA. £5.

£5? That's a crime, especially given that Crank is available for only THREE POUNDS!!!! Andy

I've got every episode of the original G1 run on DVD so no need to hunt down cheap stuff. As for Armada I once picked up a DVD with the first three episodes on but then got rid of it upon realising how bad it was.

Fans of cheap TF DVD's may wish to head to HMV. 2-Disc 2007 movie is a fiver. Both the vanilla and 2-disc versions of the 86 animated movie are £2 and sunbow season box sets are a fiver. Piles and piles and piles of them. Metrodome really did overestimate demand for these things when setting the production runs back in the day!

Not bad. I'll have to pick up Vol.1 when I am in town next. Everywhere seems to have it for a £9.99.
I just picked up Volumes 2-3-4 on a '3 for £9.99' deal on Play.com where they also have the pilot movie (at £9.99 tho). The 3 DVD deal worked out cheapest.

I doubt it counts, but I picked up revenge of the Fallen for £1.49 in cash generator last week.

I tried to get the pilot movie from Play as other efforts have failed but it's out of stock and out of print.

Darn. I hope it gets a re-release or something... Preferably the whole season on a box set rather than just 'volumes'.
I'll have look around my neck of the woods on the way to uni tomorrow, but I won't have high hopes.

Season 3 was never released on DVD annoyingly. That can only be watched on the interwebs.

I'm currentley on a quest to find the complete RID boxset, but no joy on that one. I may have to settle for buying the two season sets separatley.
HMV had Animated volumes but they were £5 each. They also had lots of Armada volumes at £3 a go.
Play.com are selling up some of the early G1 DVDs for 98p each. Second hand though.
Both halves of G1 s2 for £4.99 each on Play seems pretty good! Never actually watched Season 2 beyond Dessertion of the Dinobots and a couple of others.

Desertion of the Dinobots must be my favourite TF episode(s).
