I am boycotting Marvel Legends until they make one of ROM Spaceknight.
Parker Brothers (now a Hasbro subsidiary) created the original toy. Marvel wrote the comic series. Surely they can work something out!

I'd love to get my fave character in Legends, but unfortunately I limit my spending and TFs take up all my budget.
I did dig out my small collections of SHOWDOWN! Ah, I love Superhero Showdown! Not sure why I like 'em so much, I think it's the size and sculpts. The figs pop apart if you so much as look at them, Capt. America just ping in half every time I pick him up, but, using Capt.A as an example, I just love his facial expression, and you can get them into some ace, exagerated positions!
Anyone else have any Showdown figs?

Not yet, but I do want the Hulk vs Leader two pack. My Planet Hulk will do for now, superb mold.

Aw, I love Showdown! (haven't ever played the actual game though! Just like fighting the figs! Ah, child growing older...). I have Magneto Vs Colossus on the way. Desperate for Beast, my fave X-Person. Wish they'd do a Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse. Hard to find the later waves though, isn't it?

There's no logical sequence to the way any of the waves show up over here. That can make it really difficult if anyone is trying to complete the large figure with the Marvel Legends. Thankfully, I'm not too worried about doing that and have the luxury of only buying the ones I want. Nabbed myself an Ultimate Iron Man yesterday, oh yeah!

I found a box of the Mojo assortment (original Iron Man- 2 variants with the silver or bronze suit, the Falcon, Psylocke, Longshot, Baron Zemo and... and... the other one) on a top shelf at TRU this afternoon. If you're after anybody out of that give me a holler. They're only 3.99 at the mo.
-Nick
EDIT: Luke Cage: Power Man! Sweet Christmas! How did I forget him? Zemo also comes as hooded and ugly-as-hell variants.

I read on a board the name of I can't remember now, one of the Marvel ones maybe, that Showdown has had it's last wave (the wave with Invisible Woman in it). Anyone heard anything?
EDIT: In actuallity, it's Toy Bizs last wave in the line, 'cos Hasbro have now taken over the license for Marvel figs. Nothing so far on if Hasbro are going to continue the line. Hope they do! Want Apocalypse and Mr. Sinister!!!

Received more Showdown figs yest! Black constume Spider-man, who's a slightly different mold to original Spidey, not just a re-paint. And from US Ebay, Cyclops and Dare Devil. Cyclops I was desperate for, he's one of my favorate X-Men. The fig is good. This wave, as well as the last wave, the figs are much improved form the first waves. Limbs don't pop out for no reason, and the figs don't look as skinny. Cyclops is very nice acutally, a great mold. Unfortunately he doesn't have a 'trigger' hand, a hand molded with his first two fingers posied to fire off an optical blast. Also the paint aplication is terrible, yellow blobs everywhere, and the paint on his boots and gloves seems stinky. But I can cope with these probs. Dare Devil is a fig that wasn't actually on my wants list. But he was part of the same lot as Cyclops on Ebay. But how pleased am I that I got him? Damn pleased! He's ace, an excellant mold, great styling. In fact, DD may be the best Showdown I've seen so far, joint with the excellant Magneto. Did I mention the arrival of the Magneto and Colossus starter pack? Not sure I did. These are excellant figs also, and mark the begining of the improvement of the design of the figs. Magneto in partic is cool, with an ace 'creating a magnetic feild' hand position! Only hope Hasbro decided to continue the line.

Received Mr Fantastic and Invisible Woman Showdown figs in the week. Decent figs. Pleased as it completes my Fantastic Four! One complaint, Sue Richards's facial expression is well odd. Kind of a smile I suppose, doesn't go well with any kind of pose (no I'm not being rude!), such as 'casting force-field' pose. Odd choice of expression, and the smile is not a little disturbing. Good aditions though. Only need Silver Surfer now and I've got all the ones I'm after. Hope Hasbro keep makin' 'em. Not holding my breath though.

Courtesy of Marvelous NewsAlready linked in TF toys due to transformy-related stuff, but there's plenty of non-transformy stuff in here too. The Union Jack figure in particular makes me happy, and the Nick Fury, Kang the Conqueror and Shang Chi Heroes figures are pretty funky too. -Nick
