Well if I can't find the Secret Wars figures locally I'll know where to go.
No wee Marvel figures this year? That's a shame. I might have been tempted by a few.

The bad news is, it appears that the 3.75" Marvel Universe line won't be released in the UK, at least not this year. They are not in the catalogue. BASTARDS!!!

It seems, hopefully, that I may be wrong about the Marvel Universe figures. The same supplier has offered me Waves 2 and 3 at sensible prices. I'll have to phone them tomorrow to see what's what.

Will do, thank you, gents. The first wave is due August, so perhaps they'll be in time for Auto Assembly.
The good news is, the Marvel Universe line will be released. Hurrah! It was just a pricing error before. (Why they're not in the catalogue, I don't know.) The first wave may actually arrive this month. I've also ordered Waves 2 and 3, but their schedules are TBC.

FPG has them for £8. They've just got in the first wave of Marvel Universe figures at that size but at £9 they can piss off!

Not bad at all. Turning wrists & necks, universal joints at the elbow, shoulder and hip, high ball jointed waist, double bending knee & Wolverine has universal joints at the ankles too. Sculpt is good, thought the Wolverine's colours are slightly too dark. Deadpool's covered with weapons but the QC on mine isn't great one leg is very floppy at the hip the other has some flak on it which needs trimming. Both have Star Wars style peg holes - I'm using bases from an old SW multipack for them.
Worth a loo if you can find them at UK retail.
Now to stand Snake Eyes, Luke Skywalker & Wolverine together

Don't s'pose anymotherhubber's got a marvel select incredible hulk they want shut of? The 'perfect' Hulk has always been a problem for me, but I've decided that this version may be the one, but I'm finding one hard to find for anything less than a bazillion squid.

I have just accepted within myself that I will own it. It will happen one night when I lurch on to the net while heehawed. It is inevitable. Why resist? It may not happen for years, but happen it will.
The only thing that can save me is if Secret Wars II comes out in Essentials.

I saw the first three sets today. Oh yes. The sight of an action figure of Klaw The Master Of Sound made me happy. I will be springing for these in due course methinks. I MUST HAVE ALL SECRET WARS FIGURES!

Where did you see them, Ralph? I was expecting them in stock in August, so as I hadn't had them I assumed they were cancelled.

I went into the Entertainer in Kingston today. They had a Guadrian 3 3/4 inch figure on the shelves. Guardian !!!! A shame it was £8, had some very dodgy pale blue shadowing on it and no accesories. Even DX-Force Wolverine had a sword and GI Joe Leatherneck gun.
(Also red/blue and black spidermen, Green & Hob goblins, Moon Knight, gold and red&silver iron men)
