I've got a modest collect now. Joining my decent 'Showdown' collect. I'm not gunna go to mad for these, just getting the characters I feel are important for battles! The Captain Americas and Iron Mans of this world! So far they're pretty decent figures, I have to say. Want a Sentry!

Nigel, are you getting these in? I might have room for some of these in the budget post-New Year. I'll have to order these when the time comes as FPE aren't getting any of my cash so I'd rather throw some coinage your way.

Went back today. Figures priced at pennys under £8. So I took 2 to customer services and they scanned up with the offer. So check and see if your store doesn't have these. And don't bother coming to either of the Swindon ASDAs
In related news I now own Iron Fist, Daredevil, Electro, the Sub mariner and both Hulks. Now for some Spiderman/X-Force Wolverine/Iron Man/Green Goblin action....

R: if your ASDA still has the above on special I'll relieve them of any character I don't have. From the list you gave above I need Spider Man(men - there's 2) , Iron Man (any and all), and the Surfer. If they've only got 3 I suppose I'll have to pay for 3 and let you have the 4th figure ;-) Have: Iron Fist, DD, Electro, Hulks and Namor Wikipedia has a checklist Off that really want the Iron Men & Goblins |

Marvel figures all gone in my local ASDA! I will check the one near my folks when visiting today.
They did have Iron Man 2 figures though. Some size as the usual Marvel figures.

They aren't in the two for eight pounds deal I'm afraid. At least, not in my Asda. In fact, the only things that were were the Gi Joe figurtes. Of which they had..... two Cobra Commanders. So it probably wasn't their most successful promotion.
My Asda has not had any of the other Marvel figures in at all.

I spotted the Iron Man 2 figures while shopping in Asda earlier - it was the movie and concept series they had, no sign of the comics ones. Def had Mark II, and the Power Assault and Deep Dive ones.

We've got a smattering of Iron Man 2 figures in the stock room at TRU- if you look closely you can just see a little red stamp with "do not merchandise before 1st March 2010" on it in 12 languages in minuscule writing. I can see how they missed it.
Still, when it comes to street dates I doubt Hasbro can do more than ask nicely when confronting the Wal-Mart Family.

The Iron Man 2 stuff has been so widely distributed now - ASDA here and TRU in the US - it isn't worth bothering with.

Got some in my ASDA today - they weren't in the boys aisle, they were in the discount toys aisle. Marked at £7.77 there was no mention of the offer but they were still in the offer.
Got Spider Man - red & blue costume, Iron Man - red & silver costume and the Silver Surfer.

I've been getting the odd one or two MU and Secret Wars. I don't want all the characters, so I've been picking up a few, such as Hawkeye, loose from nice Americans on ebay. I realy like the figures. Great for fighting Cobra Troopers or Clone Troopers or the Masterpiece Jets!
I like the look of Secret Wars Dr Doom!

Ian - any of the £4 Asda ones you're after just in case I see them? I've seen Spiderman (red & blue), Iron Man (red & silver), Namor, Guardian, Iron Fist, Electro, Daredevil, Silver Surfer and Red & Grey Hulks. Moon Knight is supposedly out there too.
