I was rather productive at the weekend, utilising the surprising bout of sunny weather; treated the garden fence and prepared a couple of hanging baskets.
Me + Hanging Baskets = End of the World.
And I also made an apple and blackberry crumble completely from scratch. (The custard was bought in, though.)

Hello Sportsfans!
Uni looms ever closer! 2 weeks to go now, or sumat. Got a 2 week block, and then 2 days a week (with two shifts a week as well). Excited 'bout starting, but not looking forward to whole week away from the Mrs and Piglet. I'll cope though!
Piglet's so funny as the mo. Fave game is racing around screaming "Little gung-gangy! Everybody Clap!" She changes every day. Scarry how quick she learns stuff.
Into Marvel at the mo. Been finishing off my Showdown collection (preffer Showdown, 'cos they're 'in scale' wi Masterpiece/Alt TFs etc). Thor is a great figure. Received a build-a-fig Galactus the other day from a very nice man on Ebay. Oh yeah. Been catching up with the comics, taking them out the library would you beleive. They got a decent selection. Trying to get a nice big fix before hitting the emergency medical books which will dominate my life for the next nine/ten months or so.
Hope everyone is ok and having a good week!

I was cycling into work this morning and got the shock of my life when a fox suddenly came from out of nowhere and darted in front of my bike while I was at top speed. Fortunatly the creature missed my bike by an inch or two and survived to dive into a hedge on the other side of the road but who knows what might have happened if I had hit it.

Had an interview at SEPA this morning. 6 month contract for an assistant scientist in the inorganic analysis department. Not sure how it went. Any surplus channelling would be appreciated.

In the last month or so I have seen the following wildlife (in the wild) without leaving the area served by Cardiff Bus:
peregrine falcons rabbit water voles fox cormorants tufted ducks greater crested grebe kingfisher buzzards
Today I add to that list... one rat.
