Is our own spider wrangler anything to do with this?

Upon my last visit to the blasted remains of our bathroom I encountered a spider that fell out of the toilet roll onto my hand when I picked it up. It bungee'd off and scarpered across the floor before running up the wall to watch me wipe.
Sleep well, Ralph.

Welcome to my world.
One attacked me by leaping from my specs on the bus yesterday.

So apparently Britain's been threatening to storm the Ecuador embassy to grab Julian Assange www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19281492Obviously it would have been AWFUL if the Chinese did the same to the US embassy a few months back, but that's different, right?

Is our own spider wrangler anything to do with this? I've only just noticed these comments. My spidey sense appears to have failed me. It appears to be on the back burner along with the spider research for now. My current research is so fishy that I smell a rat...

I like that the robot from Taiwan goes simply by the name of "Middle sized robot". Martin

I always love a good animal breakout story. I think the best part of this one is the fact that the Bull clearly wasn't expecting to succeed - seeing as he got out of the enclosure and then discovered that the next point on his plan after "Escape" was "?"

Now I am imagining each Mars Bar being briefed just before it is wrapped:-

World's richest woman says that Australians should take wage cuts because they are too greedy, and they should look to Africa for inspiration where the people are happy to work for $2 a day. Meanwhile she is eating lots of cakes and earning £393 a second for breathing because she inherited lots of money and land/mining rights from her father. No, really. No, this is actually a thing. www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-19487985

Indeed. But on the bright side it would appear that the Australian Prime Minister has treated her with a wonderfully Australian reaction of approximately "what would she know anyway".

A thoroughly despicable human being, utterly contemptible and deserving of fuck all. (Not the Australian Prime Minister).

I've seen a couple of stories on her before trying to buy political influence, buying up newspapers and ordering them to spread her view of things etc.
