(I didn't want to derail the Heroes thread.)
I, too, enjoy the television programme "Mock The Week" and the shenanigans of Frankie Boyle.

All hail Frankie Boyle! That man has caused more spraying of tea across my living room than no other. Let's see if I can find some quotes:
Hah hah even better - youtube!

I found him funny before I got used to him. He made me laugh when he took me by surprise with his sheer outrageousness, but his material is not actually witty, so now that the shock isn't there any more I don't find much to laugh at.
Hugh Dennis is actually witty, and so still makes me laugh long after I've got to know him.
Though never as loudly as the first time Frankie Boyle took me by surprise.

Yeah I would probably agree with that, although I still find Frankie very funny. Knowing that he will say something outrageous does take the edge off though.
The combo of Hugh Dennis and Frankie in Scenes We'd Like To See makes that part of the show my absolute favourite.

My brothers going to see him when he comes to Hull. I decided not to because as funny as I usually find him on Mock the Week it isn't the type of performance I want to spend an hour or more watching.

Have you ever listened to Hugh on radio 4s The Now Show ? Well worth a listen. I can remember him (and Steve) when they were the support for Jasper Carrot on Carrot Confidential and then into the Mary Whitehouse Experience.
I think Frankie dominates the show too much. Stick him over as the captain of the opposing team and rotate the rest of the guests a little more.
Ed Byrne's turn on Scenes We'd Like to See where he can't get to the mike is great. And Adam Hill's first appearance when he gets his leg out for all to see.

Frankie's live DVD is out now, a few bits that he's done on Mock The Week but funny, funny stuff.

I've seen a few episode of Mock the Week now and I have to admit it does very little for me. Sorry!
