The first batch have been printed and stitched this morning (I forced the printers to open just for me at some unnecessary early hour this morning) and are ready to go out in tonight's post.
Postmen have been pre-kicked in the balls as well.

Always glad to hear of posties being hurt! Andy For every edition ordered I will personally kick a postman in the balls. For that reason alone I have ordered a copy. David

(I forced the printers to open just for me at some unnecessary early hour this morning) I thought _you_ were the printers...? Martin PS Ordered it before anyone else said they'd ordered it.

I only have to deal with this postie for another 3 weeks!
I learned a new word from the Spotlight: Nightbeat review: 'sedulous'. I must use that word as often as possible.
RE: Soundwave V the cartoon: I believed him back in the day! And I still do!

I learned the word 'ambits' yesterday.
Hubris received safe and sound, thank you Graham!

Received yesterday, and despite G's two pieces of "do-not-bend-me-i'm-sturdy-cardboard-for-a-reason", it was folded nicely in two and delivered.
Still a great read though! Timecode was awesome, really enjoyed it.

My copy of #7 of "Hubris" arrived at lunch time today, safe and sound within its protective cardboard armoured shell. I've only had a chance to read part of it so far, but what I have read seems rather good.

Enjoying it so far. Will review in due course. Still waiting for someone besides me to review 'Robot War: A User's Guide', mind! You should all feel ashamed...

My copy arrived on Friday. I've only read the Soundwaves vs the cartoon section at the moment but what I have seen of the other sections it does look like a good issue that could rival anything by IDW.
Is there any chance of grabbing any back issues of Hubris if you have any spare G?

Issue 6 is still available, you can use the links on this page: www.the-hub.co.uk/library/hubris/hubris6/index.html for more details. Unfortunately I have long lost most of the files to do with previous Hubris issues, but since there's been a fair amount of interest, then I will get round to producing a sort of "Catch Up Edition". Oh, and to confuse matters even more a new Hubris #4 will be out (hopefully by the end of 2008) since that was never published in the first place.

Splendid effort G, I will do a more detailed review later on today but again, the quality of the magazine is as high as anything I could get off the shelves of WH Smith and has the added bonus of no adverts.

Cheers, Andy!
I agree on the no adverts thing, that really bugs me, especially on the more expensive stuff with up to seven pages of adverts before you even get to the contents page!
