Movies based on Marvel characters. Post thoughts here.
Me, I love 'em! Want a giant cross-over film, featuring Fantastic Four, X-Men (what's left of 'em), Spider-Man etc, where they battle Apocalypse!
Really looking forward to the upcomming Iron-Man film!

I'll check this out when we finally get our PC up and running at home. Smegging work PC wont let us onto Youtube.
Saw trailer for Iron-Man. Looks fantastic! Think Robert Downey Jr is perfect for the role.

I've completely turned against Iron Man in the comics, so I'm hoping the film can bring me back to why I liked him in the first place. I found myself totally against him in Civil War and loved watching the Hulk and Thor beat the snot out of him in recent months. It actually annoyed me that Marvel named him as their Hero of the Year. The trailer does look good, though.
I'm much more of a Hulk fan myself, and I'm really looking forward to his upcoming on-screen fisticuffs with the Abomination.
Also really getting in to JMS' Thor so I really hope they make a good movie. I really hope that a good actor is chosen to play him and not some meathead.

Coupla questions/ideas.
Wonderman, interesting character, what with the ion thing an' all. But terrible name. Why not rename him Ion-man?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Taken me three weeks to think up that...)
Read Civil War last week. Wow. Pretty darn good. Captain America's assasination wasn't in it though. Which book is that in?
I'm also heavily enjoying the New Avengers. Great collection of characters. Well written. Also good post civil war n'all.
MODOK scares me.
Anyone reading Secret Invasion? Any good?
Hasbro making any more Legends? Was/is there an Holocaust B.A.F. series? Wiki says there is.
So Kang is like a looney time travelling dude. Right?
I'm excited 'bout the upcomming Marvel films. Supposidly Captain America: First Avenger (but he wasn't the first Avenger!), Iron Man 2 (suppose to feature Thor), an actual Thor movie (Brad Pitt's name is up there for the lead, don't like. Daniel Craig also mentioned, better choice, but still no cigar for me). Apparently they're gunna do a Spiderman 4 and 5 back to back. I think they should re cast Spidey/Parker. And an Avengers movie in 2011. Rock on! Should be just like the animated Ultimates movie me thinks!
Sentry RULES.

Read Civil War last week. Wow. Pretty darn good. Captain America's assasination wasn't in it though. Which book is that in? That happened in an issue of "Captain America" the month or so after Civil War. He is a time-traveller yes(at some point along his personal timeline he becomes Immortus as well). As to whether he is insane - it depends on which Kang, and at what point on his timeline. That's the thing with Time Travel.... Karl

Yeah it was Captain America #25.
I think Captain America and The Incredible Hercules are Marvel's best books at the moment, followed closely by the new Namor mini series - which i can heartily recommend.
