If you're into selling vintage stuff like toys and books I've heard that vectis.co.uk is a good site. Never tried it myself though because I've haven't got anything I'd consider vintage. |

Just some advice Pete if you want to sell loads of individual comics. Combine postage on them and you'll get more bidders on them. Nobody liked buying loads of individual issues and paying over the odds for postage.

For sale I made where sold one comic for 50p with £1 post - ebay make 4p from the sale then 25p from paypal too [get double charged by ebay - that's why they want you to use paypal on everything]. Send recorded costs £1.40 - so end up making -19p. But got bulk lots on now - with sending out in comics boxes weight 4kg postage cost £40.99 on average next day recorded. search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZpah252002 |

Postage shouldn't cost that much. Where did you get that price from? Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day costs £19.45 for up to 10kg. (£20.70 from Monday 7th April, when the postal prices go up.) Have you tried the Royal Mail Postal Calculator? (Although, careful how you use it - like I say, the prices are going up on Monday and it's obviously showing current prices at the moment.) |

Must have looked at the wrong bit of paper - whatever the weight of a full comic box is anyway, 300 comics. I've got prices noted down for sending parcels to italy, US & other places.
4kg was the weight of the poster frames I sent yesterday at £11 - the comics box must have been 35-40kg.
