You can't honestly really say Galactica 1980 is a good show??! -Ralph I think from that glut of 70s/80s genre shows that came out of the US there are far worse. From what I've watched so far it does at least seem to have character... but I am preparing for a bumpy ride. I love the way it brazenly steals bits from the old show to make the effects look better, and I'm sure all this WW2 footage in the second episode is lifted from old films. It wears its heart on its sleeve - it isn't pretending to be something it isn't. |

In the interest of fairness a re-watch attempt was tried to see if 1980 was as bad as remembered. It was worse! 32 mins into episode 1 and I had had enough.
