SeaQuest DSV was cancelled shortly after Kent appeared, is that it?

SeaWreck is indeed what we're looking for. Though from memory he appeared in the first series and it got better after that !

My R1 BSG season 3 boxset arrived yesterday! They've got the Restiance Webisodes and loads of extended/deleted scenes. I'm glad I waited for the R1 release now given the how barebones the R2 set is.

I am waiting till season 4 is well and truly out so I can pick up the whole lot in one go. Have seen most of S.1-3 so far though.
In the meantime Galactica 1980 sustains me.

Finished 1980 off last night. Quite enjoyed the whole series really. Other than whinging Amy.
And who could've seen the truth about Dr Zee coming?!

Would you rate 1980 above or below the original show?

I presume you mean do I rate the first or second season of the original show more highly..?
At present I cannot say as I haven't watched season 1 in ages. A friend of mine has it so I will have to borrow it sometime. Very soon.

Nice con panel interview at Newsrama. Unfortunately one of the posters after that went and blew what happened in episode 3 before I watched it.

Gotta love message board posters with no idea of SPOILER warnings.

I have just started watching the original 1st season. I wonder how they ever got by without Dr Zee's wise wisdom and flying saucer!

S4 is great so far. The third ep kind of drifted along for about the first half hour until the OMFG I can't believe it ending. Harsh, harsh stuff even for BSG.

Missed that! Yeah it'll be funny if they've got the virus. I can't wait to find out what happens when they die. I reckon one of the 4 must be killed before the end of the series just to explore this.

By "they" I meant the character that stepped outside, insinuating that character was a Cylon. Which would be funny given who helped that character out the door. It also has other implications ....
This weeks was very talky when i ownloaded it at the weekend.

Finally we can talk in full spoiler mode about this Phil!
Yeah this weeks episode was bang on the money. I was shouting 'put your hand in the water!!!' at Anders when he was near the control station on the base ship, but knew something would stop him from doing so. Great moment.
In the last few episodes things are really starting to go to shit for the 4 Cylons. I'm really looking forward to when Adama finds out about Tigh! And like I said before I can't wait to see what happens when one of them dies - is there a final 5 fleet with resurrection ships waiting for them are will they just be dead?

That was good again this week. Slowly the opera house vision starts to unravel.

Having watched the episode again it hit me how many times they used the word Leader to refer to the head rebel cylon, unintentionally flagging her getting blown away at the end of the episode (The Dying Leader shall know the truth of the opera house)

No BSG this week dammit Who do you reckong the 5th model is ? For my money it's Cally. I still think it has to be a top tier character, which would mean one of Baltar, Adama, Lee, Starbuck or Roslin (Boomer and 6 are already cylons). I think Starbuck is right out after her recent storyline (too obvious), and if Adama is a cylon then Lee is at least a half-cylon so he's out. I suppose Lee could have been swapped at birth but otherwise he's out if Adama is. So Baltar or Roslin - I think there's enough evidence for and against each to make it a toss-up between them. If not then I reckon Billy or Cally. If whats-her-face off Deep Space Nine had turned up in an earlier series I'd have sworn she was a cylon too but at this point it needs to be someone shocking. I actually think there might be a 13th cylon because it fits the patterns. 12 lords of Kobol and one cylon god. 12 colonies and a 13th on Earth. 12 cylon models and... I'm convinced everyone's going to die by the end of the series anyway. I reckon Nicky and Hera will be the only survivors who'll be left on Earth as Adam and Eve - meaning we are all half-human, half-cylon.

Or 1/4 human 3/4 cylon if Cally is a Cylon too........ Making her the cylon has implications and that's one of them

More good squishy this week.
The revelation about what's happened with Tigh's activities in the cells strengthens my Cally theory. Though you have to add Cottle's name to the list I think.
